I can't believe that a man who once played "Poida" and "Chopper" will be playing the next James Bond. The Aussies will know what i am talking about. He used to be farkin' hilarious back in the days when he did comedy!!!!

hehehehe Poida!!! Australians putting themselves on the map. Well done Eric :)

Neither Orlando nor Bana fit bond. I don't care how well they act or sound like Bond, they need to look like Bond, as well.

What does "Bond" look like? ;)

I think Bana is a good choice. Better than anyone else I can think of.

'g'day mate the names bond, james bond.'

it just doesnt work.

Lazenby was an Aussie and he was e enough to be ditched after one film. The signs don't look good...
G`Dave
Enough talk about how singers should be the next bond... both robbie williams and justin timberlake shoudln't be allowed anywhere near the role... robbie cause he's a tool that'll get all emotional with the bond girls, and timberlake cause he looks 16 and is too much of a softto play bond.

Hugh Jackman could work, but he'd need to work on the general british swagger.

Personally I think Eric Bana would be perfect for it.. but I love eric bana, I want to make babies with eric bana (technical issues aside).

**Gets teary and emotional for the days of PIODA!! **

 Sean Connery was born August 25, 1930, in Edinburgh, Midlothian,
Scotland

Pierce Brosnan Birthdate: May 16, 1952 Birthplace: Navan, County Meath,
Ireland

Full Name: Roger George Moore. Date of Birth: October 14, 1927. Place
of Birth: Stockwell, London, England

Timothy Dalton. born March 21, 1944 in Colwyn Bay, Wales

George Lazenby (born September 5, 1939) is an Australian actor. He was born in Queanbeyan City (or Goulbourn), New South Wales, and served in the Australian Army

So lets see... All of these actors must not make ANY sense whatsoever..
Thanks for playing, try again.

Yeah, only Lazenby wasn't, and he was officially e.

I don't see how that really has much to do with anything. I mean anyone thats well traveled and practices enough can get just about any accent down. If you're talking about an aire of a person that just eminates "I'm from the bloody UK" then I dunno. Mel Gibson seems to pass off other accents easily. Hell I pull off tons of accents. I should be the next 007..

I can just run around with a pp7 saying "bloody good, take off the panties".
