geez.... this thread is huge already!

I just woke up from a much-needed very long nap and said goodbye to brian, who's now on his way back to pittsburgh. sorry everyone that we missed vic's party... we were just gonna take a little nap and then try to drive back to ny but you know how "little naps" go, lol. slept straight til 1pm today

Armin's set was totally mind-blowing. i'm one of those people who enjoys both his "fluffy" trance and the hard stuff, and he made sure to break out a good mix of both. there were some vocal tracks i totally wish i knew the names of, but even the track-whores couldnt id. but Silence and lili hayden- anything ... so glad he played those. and even though i was sooo hoping for Satellite, Burned with Desire and As the Rush Comes, i was not expecting to hear all 3. those songs are still some of my faves, no matter how old and overplayed they are! crobar was awesome, even though i kept looking out the door all night and saying "i dont see any rain" and he spun til after 2 which was cool.

It was great seeing Brian, Sergio, Vlad and Joey again, partying with one of my glowsisters - Joanna (but janette we kept saying all night it wasnt the same without u there ) and my best friends ever - Mustafa, AK, the doctor (harun), Franco, Ruben, and all the cool peeps u brought with u guys. I finally got to meet some TAs... Lyssa and ur b/f - it was a blast, cant wait to hang with u longer, Sal, the guy with the blond spiky hair and his cute g/f who were hanging out up front (sorry i cant remember ur names), Indy (u rock girl!), starwarssteve, and about 5 other people i'm just drawing a blank on.

And on friday - great to meet Brianna, thanks for being so sweet and letting us crash, Dirty Dave, Dom, Madeline and Matt (u guys kill me, lol), Patrick, Christopher (very nice spinning) and anyone i'm forgetting.... hopefully next time i'll be not so f**king tired! u guys are all awesome.

Brian - arent u glad i talked u into it?
Joanna - when ur brain comes back from vacation, give me a call

peace... amy

One of the hallmarks of great time is that you remember it for days/months/even years. This was one of those parties. I must say that lately, I've been jaded. I might be spoiled by the influx of all the big name DJs in US all playing the same crap and doing the same old thing. I must say that Thursday night gave me a feeling I havent' felt in a very very very long time! I made friends with some ppl from Boston and we all just had a wicked time! I never had such a great time with complete strangers, that I just met!

I left 100% satisfied and though I did feel like I'd want armin to spin for another 2-3 hours or so, I probably wouldn't have lasted.

The tracks I was really hoping to hear (call me nostalgic, I don't care) :D :

1. Solar Stone - 7th City
2. Sunburn
3. C Sharp - The quest

I really would have loved to hear some of the tracks from Boundaries of Imagination in the club.

Saw bunch of TA's that I didn't know the names. Oh, another funny thing: I ran out of cash, the club ATM was broken so bouncers let me out to MAC on the corner (which was nice of them) - so, I stumble out of club somewhat buzzed from 2 red bull and vodkas, and I see these two guys who completely look like Filo and Perry! So, I ask them "Are you Filo and Perry"? They just gave me that weird look and were like "eh? non hablo ingles" (or something). So I mumbled "sorry" and walked on but felt like such a tool... :) One of the dangers of drinking - it loosens your inhibitions and can create some akward situations. They probably thought I was compeltely off my rocker. :)

Anywho - it was all good.

To add one more track onto that list:

Sonar Methods – Echoing Waves (Robert Nickson Remix)

the night was amazing.
i wasn't feeling it in the beginning but i got into it probably by 11.
i would have prefered it at cp though.

one more thing about the night.
one girl, with braids, a skirt, in the very front, dancing whole night, if you are a ta and read this. i ffffkkkking love you.

next time i need to meet more ta's, i always end up going alone and chillin alone... so sad :(

We're easy to find... next time you go to a big event, we're usually down front and center in a pretty big group.
