This was by far the best event I've been to in the last year. I don't care what you say about those "jazz hands" but Armin is awesome. The tracks were great, the energy was definitely there, the vibe was there and club was pretty decent too!
The sound kinda sucked though, something was missing and ears were hurtin'. Otherwise, the track selection was just pure delight!
What was the tune he dropped around 8:20ish? It kinda sounded like it had guitar parts in it? It sort of reminded me of Blackeight "The silence"? I remember he played it before the Synaesthesia (maybe 1 or 2 songs before it). People just went funkin bananas to that song!
Anyway, my highlights for the night:

actually, the entire set was just banging! Tho the last 2 hours were kinda "ok"... not too bad but not too exciting either.
Overall, perfect night! And no rain! ... it would have been sweet in CP ;) The should have bused everyone over back to CP :D :D :D |

im a TOTA but i decided to come down to nyc for the wknd and when my friends told me armin was gonna be here i made sure to arrange my travel plans accordingly so i drove into the city and parked my car on 28th btwn 10th and 9th and ran to the crobar at literally 7:50 and my friends were at the front of the line right in front of some NYTA's (who i didnt meet) my friends were the canadians whoever saw them hehe
in any case i have been very disappointed with a.s.o.t. as of late but my friends told me dont worry he will be spinning for 6 hrs he is forsure gonna go hard.....well they were right!
ARMIN KICKED MY ASS AND I LOVED IT!!
after 9 hrs in a car no proper meals and bouncing around for 6 hrs i was dead tired but it was worth it!
one thing i noticed though, you guys in nyc dont pack the clubs even half as much as they do in toronto at the guv! not that im complaining at all i loved all the extra room available to me u lucky bastards
awsome set by armin and i am now sorry i missed the armin boat in toronto on july 1 but now i know better in the future! if only a.s.o.t. could be hour 4 and 5 (of last nite) every week as opposed to hour 1 & 2 (last nites hr 1&2 were pretty soft i dont think he ever went over 135 bpm those 1st 2 hrs) |

I wasn't really feeling it last night...
His set started way too soft and boring for me, I guess I'm slowly moving away from Trance.
Around 11:30 he started playing Techyer stuff. Tracks i enjoyed:

You shoulda been behind him, that bass was sexy :p Sides, you should blame the artists that make soft music, Armin just took a liking to them. Not his fault is it? ;) |

| i'm pretty sure that crobar's soundsystem was missing speakers....usually there are those huge ones hanging off to the side, but i didn't see em there. can anyone verify this? |

OHHH man It was Sooo StellAR! I had a great time. It was a pleasure meeting alot of you guys, and I'm glad (most) had a good time. Me and da G/f definately were really feeling the set. Armin started off a lil light, but I agree with everyone else that around the 11:00 mark or so he really began to pick it up. I really enjoyed how he keeps his energy up while spinning for 6 hours, that he can get so into his set for that long really says something about how much he loves it. I really felt a good energy last night. Thanks to all the TA that I finally got to meet last night, u guys are the chillest..

Killer Set at Crobar... It was great to finally meet most of the NYTA at crobar... sooo many names to list but i def remember faces, so it all good.
Since i was rockin my NYTA Shirt, alot of ppl stopped me and asked about it... "Where did you get it?" "Did you get it at the TranceAddict site?"
hrms... with that said maybe i should start producing more of these NYTA T-Shirts and sell for like 25 or so LOL... just an idea.. lol
Like i said b4, it was great meetin all of you and i cant wait till the next meet up.
