Great game by Argentina today, clearly the better team on this day. Mano Ginobli was excellent.
Next time I think the USA should experiment by using college players. They should form the team before the NCAA march madness and start playing together in April to be a better team. This would give them time to adapt to international rules. |

| OMG. The U.S Basketball team is the biggest overrated disgrace ever. They were always automatically a Gold medal team, but I can't believe they're playing for probably the Bronze Medal. No foreign team is better than the U.S. They just don't play with as much passion and heart as the foreign teams. |

Thats how it was before 92,In the 1988 olympics The U.S team made up of college all- stars were only able to win the silver medal,college kids arent gonna be able to contend with all these powerful international teams no matter how much they practice.
Like I've said countless times in this thread , they just need to select better players from the NBA that can play as a team as opposed to a whole bunch of guys who cant shoot or pass like we had this year.We need a Pure Point Guard,Shooting Guards etc...
We need all these rich players who are to to go to other countrys cause of security reasons to get some balls and support their nation.
Im glad the USA will finally wake up and realize whats going on in the rest of the world with these olympics,there was too much ignorance in USA basketball and Ill admit the fans as well,its not easy anymore.
I freaking hate Argentina in soccer and I guess now in basketball too,theyve beat the USA twice now,oh god.
While I may not like them they still played great and Ginoblis awesome. |
