I dont think they were overated, i dont think anyone thought they were the best in the world and were automoatic gold medal winners. If you read everyone elses posts you will realise you were the only one who rated them so highly.

| heres a tip USA, why dont you take some of that 950 million dollars in contracts and go buy some gold medals...? Would prolly work out a lot cheaper and at least you'd definitely have gold.... |

Actually if you've seen past polls on sites like ESPN, 61% out of like 200,000 people have said the U.S will win Gold. A couple of people's opinions in a thread doesn't justify anything. |

So you're saying only Americans voted on ESPN? Actually America is a diverse country with a tons of different ethnic people, and many of them are are against the U.S. Also, people world-wide vote on ESPN too so your point is nothing.

| The world is getting better at basketball and the US is not the once lock as they once were. They certainly had more talent as a team, that's nothing new but they did not pick the team well and that was the same thing that happened to Canada in World Hockey for years, we had the most talent and heart but they did not think out the teams. We started to plan out the teams much more aggressively and we went back to kicking ass. I expect the US to pick their players, much more differently to adapt to the new styles. It's funny how the anti american sentiment comes out in a thread like this. |
