Laugh.

Why? This is Canada. Find the small ethnic mini-city within Toronto, stay there and act as if you never even left home!

So many immigrants just take the easy way out and funnel into the closest ethnic mini city, seemingly endorsed by our government.

Lavish praise for all immigrants who do otherwise.

As i always say...

if you import too much of the 3rd world all at once you start to become it.

Edit: Please think long and hard about my statement before going off a name calling rant

Diginut I'm going to have to agree with your point of view on this topic as well.

Definately. I think society as a whole has become a fan of being "politically correct" and catering to every small group of people that is different in any way. It's like we're afraid to step on toes by making some kind of rules that would apply to all new immigrants.

I don't know if anyone shares this viewpoint, but I like in the USA that when you immigrate there, you are american. You are not chinese (for the sake of argument) American in your own community of 100,000 chinese people. You want to move here and get all of our benefits? You'll have to do something for them.

I'm not saying it should be 100% conformity for all immigrants but at the same time they are lucky Canada has such loose immigration policies. Hell, try getting into Cuba by showing up on their shores west coast Canada with a boat load of people who paid to get to Canada, whom EXPECT refugee status.

Maybe I'm missing something here. If I am, let me know. I'm not closed minded enough to think I have the acceptable view on this.

Stockholm can be a mess as well, very different driving, and alot smaller cars too.

The transportation system in stockholm was amazing, and the days we used it it was free for some reason. The LRT/subway and the bus system never left us waiting long at all.

Their subway system is a maze, as well as a messy bus route system. I found sometimes there are places on the outskirts of Stockholm that are very hard to reach by bus.

Try getting to aurora from toronto ;)

I still found their system far superior to here.
