i wouldn't say it's dying here.. just changed, whether it's changed for the better or worse is up to you

we still hav a long way to go however before we come anywhere close to what's going on over there. we may hav bigger clubs, but their scene is just huge!

but just think of the other side of the coin...when i was living out in oregon, there was NOTHING happening. the only shows that i got to see in a 4 month span were sandra collins in portland and way out west in san fran. it totally made me appreciate what we have here in toronto.

steve.

sure except you cant compare oregon and toronto. But you can compare london and toronto because they are 2 major world metropolisis and both the main cities of their perspective countries.

i don't think they are of any comparison .. London truly felt like a world class city, TO still has a long way to go!

^^^^^^ i agree with you there. Sadly its Torontonians' small town mentality that is the biggest barrier to us becoming a world class city.

small town mentality.. ? when some people here act like TO is the center of the universe..? i just think that it's too damnned expensive to travel.. if we had something like EasyJet and RyanAir (i know, WestJet doesn't count) we might have a far different perspective on things..
