my excuses are this. i dont smoke because both my parents do and its gross. i hate the smell, i hate the it does to you, not just healthwise. i mean, it makes you wrinkly, it makes your teeth and fingernails yellow, its just downright stupid. i will never smoke.
i dont do drugs because i used to have high morals against them. now i wont try anything but E, and thats cause i have done enough research to find that its actually quite safe. i will probably try pot someday, but i dont like smoking in general. plus some drugs out there are just stupid. heroin, acid, i mean c'mon.
i dont drink cause i have never had the opportunity to. my parents have just started lightening up to let me stay out later (im 17 btw.) plus its only fun when you do it with friends, but none of my friends really do want to. i have one that does, but he has the most strict ass parents of all time. we had a chance when we went camping, in which we planned to get super plastered, but my hookup wouldnt asnwer his phone sooooo yeah; we never got smashed.
those are my reasons. if you dont like them, eat a dick:) |

I smoke and i'll admit that there are no real advantages to smoking cigarettes. However I don't understand why someone would choose not to drink alcohol.
1) the taste: You get used to the taste... you don't always drink for the taste anyway, mostly for the effect.
2) Its a social crutch/ its a bad way to deal with problems:If you use it for those reasons of course its bad. But not everyone drinks for those reasons. Most of my friends do what they do for the experience... same reason people play tennis, go bunjee jumping or o any other activity.. It's simply a fun thing to do.
3) It contributes to road fatalities: If you're smart enough to realise that it's stupid to get behind the wheel of a car when you're wasted, then you won't do it will you?
4) I don't see a reason to do it: I don't see a reason not to do it. Surely when all your friends are drunk singing songs and talking incomprehensible crap you must feel out of place being sober. If you get drunk you can join in... why wouldn't you do it?
5) It makes you sick and vomit blood: If you're stupid enough to drink that much then you should be supervised 24/7. You could probably get sick from drinking too much of anything, including water.
Oh well, to each his own I suppose. |

I love to have a drink or ten in social situations, I tend to be very shy otherwise. Alcohol can be called liquid confidence because I would never have gotten with any girls had it not been for the magic of alcohol.
I only smoke when I'm drunk, never been hooked or felt the need for a cig when sober.
I've never done drugs although I'm open to it if the situation presents itself. Gotta try it at least once. |

I havent smoked weed in months, makes me stupid, which I dont enjoy.
I very rarely smoke cigarettes, I only tend to if I am on pills.
I drink failry regularly, but not to the point of getting drunk all the time.
Many of you have yet to enjoy the pleasure of a fine wine with your meal, it really sets off everything, makes the experience more rounded.
I generally share a bottle or two once or twice a week with my girlfriend, it's really enjoyable :D |
