Hello everyone,
Just wondering what u all thought about it. I am very pleased with where the music is now, but I must say that I miss that sound from that era. |

| thats a bit harsh like. but in response to your question, yeh i do miss my oakie days as cream resident, but i am also glad that trance music has progressed to what it is today :) |

without trying to repeat what everyone has said so far - i have fond memories of that period. but personally now i realize more and more how much i was missing out on during that period. if you want that kind of sound, but with the technique and development of the present, check out newer artists like Above and Beyond. their EM is definitely the best straight trance set i have heard in some time, anthemic AND well constructed|
and Sasha is always Sasha...no need for devolution |

why dont you just buy all the older stuff and put it on replay through this ....trance epidemic as you see it
and sasha isnt the same now, but he will still rock any house any day...
oakie on the other hand....well he just sucks balls now...hes like a crippled old man trying to compete with pop singers and hollywood actors...:wtf: |

I'd kill to have Oakenfold back playing like he did in 1999, to be able to see oakenfold play a 6 hr classic set, oh my.
Now Sasha is fine as is but the only thing I miss is him playing the original xpander. I still hold out hope for Delta Heavy 2, that some of us can bother digweed and sasha into playing heaven scent and xpander b2b to end it. |
