Hello everyone..
Now I've attended school for one week. We got this massive French homework thing. And I hate French sO bad. It sucks so massive penis. We're supposed to translate a page, know what its about, write the glossaries to the text. Then we have to pronounce 2 pages. And Know all the ER, IR and RE verbs..
Isn't this too much ?
And we got a ty teacher

i've learned french cause i lived in switzerland as a boy, then i learned portuguese can't remember how (i moved to portugal) and learned english by watching movies..
go watch french movies! may work =D |

Well I live in a french speaking place so I cant say I hate the language, but I hated learning the grammar... there's like a million exceptions, etc:whip: |

German is very hard to learn too with it's unpronouncable long words :p

| I studied French for 4 and a half years and really liked it. It's nothing like Norwegian though and has so many verb forms, I could see how you don't like it. You should have taken German. It's so much easier to learn from a Norwegian base. That's what my cousin did. |

French is such a prissy language. Le this and La that and throw in some Les too while you are at it. It goes well with the country though. I took 3 years of that language in high school and despise it.
However I can only imagine how hard english is to learn if that is not your native language. |

i had that exact same problem,... 2 years in High school and then 3 more in college,.. i dont miss it at all,...
do a search on google for translations,.. you can type a whole paper in english and it can translate for you... i really wish i had that back then :) |

not all 6 billion people on this planet know how to speak English.
even in Europe.. France, Germany, Spain... most of the inhabitants can only speak their own language.
besides, a lot of those 6 billion people have French as their native language.
learning French is not pointless at all.
online translations, those are pointless. those "machines" only translate words, not the meaning behind sentences or paragraphs.. which is the point of a translation: communicating images and concepts in an other language. |
