même si je fume...
je trouve que d'interdire la clope dans les bars c'est tres bien.
Anyway partout ailleur c rendu comme ça...c juste nous qui sommes en retard.
Et lorsque la loi sera faites les bars vont faire des terraces pour fumeur comme partout ailleur.
ya rien de mieux
pi comme ca au moins tu fumes moins de clopes

lots of big names are able to play in Montreal... cuz tobacco companies pay the big price to sponsor huge events
dont think itll help clubs...
Benson and Hedges and Du Maurier for exemple |

its not signed or anything, but in 2005 the govt will revisit the anti-smoking law currently in effect. The current government will consult the population on wheter or not to add clubs and restaurants as non-smoking zones. There's very few people or groups opposed to the new rules. (even the bar association doesn't fight it anymore because they know its a matter of time...) |

ok... personally i do not have a problem with it to much, maybe when i wanna chill and smoke a cigar in there or something... But I Can Care Less...

You think they won't sponsor events anymore? One of my roommates in Vancouver was the guy who hired the models for B&H events, and they still sponsored events, had the girls selling cigarettes, but nobody could smoke them till they left the bars!
Kinda silly, but yeah, they still do get their name out in cities where you can't smoke in bars/clubs. |

Yeah it does sound silly but they did the same in Ottawa as well, B&H as well as DuMaurier ( I think) have sponsored ferry and Armin events along with Dj Dan here! |

Yeah, and they are doing another show in December with a DJ whose name I cant disclose at this time :p. The problem with this cig money is now regular events are considered "expensive" because we get to see high paid talent at a cheap price. |

thats actualy pretty funny
its like havin people selling alcool at ARIA and sponsoring events.. but people cant open their 24 packs before they leave the building... that coul work pretty well too
