Well in Ottawa people actually dont. I mean if you sold alcohol at Aria and some people would drink it inside no one would give them a bad look, different story with cigarettes |

Yeah, but no one does. I'm only here for the summer (moving back to mtl tommorow) but I didnt see anyone with a cigarette in a bar\club all summer... except on the Quebec side (where I live) |

I agree with you completely. I don't smoke cigerettes, but I smoke weed at every party I've ever gone 2. Its alot easier to get away with smoking a joint if people are smoking cigerettes which is all that really concerns me.... |

| lets get one thing clear. %85 or more of the people involved in the electronic music scene are smokers, especially in Montreal. Montrealers like their smokes. Even the dj's like 2 smoke when spinning. Also one of the reasons I respect Quebec 2 date is for not falling into to this cigerette ban bull so far. Anyways I think its a bad move, if you can't stand smoke then maybe your 2much of panzies to be in the scene stay away from the clubs and stop crying about. This is just my opinion, but keep in mind I don't even smoke cigerettes... |

| The sad fact is cigarettes are a health risk to those in the club. An uneccesary risk at that. It is selfish to want a cigarette yet be polluting the air of the individuals around you with only a thought to your own cares! Smoking outside won't affect people around you to any relative degree! Simple as that. Its a matter of respect! |

| I am a non-smoker yet not that happy to hear that.. frankly smokers dont bother me that much and I think banning cigarette fro all of those establishment is a bit on the egde.. |
