i have dial up until tomorrow (tuesday.) then im getting 3mb cable. it took me 6 years to convince my dad to upgrade from dial up.
funniest thing: my dad has an old school pentium 1 in his basement workshop. He doesnt really use a computer except once a week to check obituaries from a town he grew up in. ANYWAY. he is gonna keep his dial up service for 20 bucks and just let me have the cable. in a way thats good cause i wont have to be networked to him, but if he spent 10 bucks for a cheap ass network card, he would save 15 bucks a month:haha:... my dads kinda dumb:D |
