im one of the "stupid gimps" who bought this, and i have to say im thouroughly bloddy impressed by it. its by far and away the least cheesy euphoris of rececent times and no doubt will alienate a lot of people who prefer the quick fix of typical tunes. i love the way most people judged the whole compilation without even listening to it, how closed minded can you be??? stuff like ending the first cd with the score from romeo and juliet certainly makes for something unique! and as for the comment earlier that went something along the lines "atrc, how original and fresh", im willing to bet you'd be the first to complain if there was no recognisable tracks on the cd, as so many other people seem to be doing. plus i for one love the deeper blue track, it just works with the rest of the tracks.
oh, and it is ferry doing a matt darey style job on it and mixing the whole thing digitally, he said it on the sleeve notes.
end of rant!

i agree with the lot of you, the trackllists are utter e and reak of "top10 list wannabe album". pretty much disgraceful to put ones name on a album like this. shame shame fc.

Actually i'd be more inclined to have a listen ;)

ATRC is too old and overplayed for new compilations imo, I wish that song would die already :(

Cant say Id buy this based on the tracklist. I mean, maybe Ferry could pull it off, but I wouldnt be counting on too much. He couldve done much better, even if he had played all pre-2003 tracks.

bought it on impulse, then looked at the track list, and almost cried and wanted to retunr it. listend to it, thought i heard one track and realized i was already at the end of the 2nd. finished it, saw it was realeased from ministry, the end.

the idea of 20 tracks isnt a bad i tihnk ,makes a change from the usually end the track straight into the beginning of the next track. and so on.

althought the tracklisting does look werid i will give it a listen before passing full jdgement.

I don't think he had any say in the playlist, he just mixed what they told him to.

You're wrong, I read the sleeve notes. Some of those tracks have a special meaning to him, which is the reason of putting them in this album!

Adagio for Strings into Smack My Bitch Up? WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF?!?!?!?! I can't wait to hear that.

It's an ard combination, but Ferry managed to mix this just well together!

I love this CD, immediately bought it when I first put my eyes on the tracklist! GO Ferry:D

It worked out better than I thought.

I agree, i listend to cd2 again and again, and i kept thinking more and more of how good it sounded. and i must admit i really enjoy it now. this mix was definatly done by ferry corsten.

I can't believe anyone actually doubted Ferry Corsten...I knew he wouldn't put out a crap mix nor give into the temptations of "doing it for the money" he's a quality producer and DJ, and everything he does is quality too.

The titled WASN'T Infinite Euphoria 2004, it was simply "Infinite Euphoria" so why wouldn't you expect some older Euphoric tunes to appear on this mix?

I'm really getting sick and tired of people bitching about "old" tracks making it onto a compilation. Do some of you NOT understand what a DJ set is REALLY about? A quality set is NOT about playing the newest tunes but playing the RIGHT tunes to make a mix GREAT and to sustain a vibe, and if a certain song (new or old) would enhance thew mix and help it along then it should be played...

I have have no qualms about ATRC being in this mix, it wasn't bad to begin with and just because it's a year later and played out doesn't make it a worthless track...

Agreed, I actually think of it as a great idea to mix so-called 'old' tracks in this release. The title 'INFINITE euphoria' explains it all, so why bother?:D

People who actually expected a CD filled with the newest tracks haven't got the right to criticise.
