I think the no public drinking applies in SF but I don't think that stopped ppl during Castro parties during Halloween last year from what i heard |

It depends on the event, and moreso, the particular area of town.
Example:
Bay to Breakers foot-race - Keg-stands EVERYWHERE!
Union Street Fair, North Beach Festival - no open containers allowed in these stuffy areas of town. Heck there were even undercover cops outside the liquor stores making people dump their beer out as soon as they bought 'em!
So hopefully more along the lines of an event like Bay to Breakers. |

Seriously, it's one of the craziest, most fun events in San Francisco period. There is an actual race, but most people just party. The costumes and keg floats people come up with are just hilarious. That's if they'e wearing any clothes at all :wtf:
If you've never gone, I highly recommend it.

I think my friend will take my shift on Saturday.
I'd recommend we meet up at Zachary's Pizza, cause it's teh best damn piza evar (no seriously, they have all these awards and stuff), but I don't know if they have a San Fransisco location....I think they're only in Berkerley and Oakland. |

hhmmmm, not having one in San Fran kinda dampens the whole meetup in san fran idea eh.
:P:tongue3 |

correct, no SF location. But two things about Zachary's:
a) The lines, the lines, THE LINES!!! You can't even sit in the overcrowded place unless your pizza is cooked and ready to be eaten. You have to call and pre-order.....then you'd have to still get into SF from the east bay, and I think LP starts at 1pm??
b) After Zachary's and beer you will be tired tired tired!
I would suggest something closer to where LP starts, like Chevy's, Gordon Biersch, or Thirsty Bear. Only problem with Chevy's is you'd end up with nasty Chevy's burps the rest of the day! GB isn't tight on IDs or anything, it is a rather spaciuos restaurant/brewery.

I know there's long lines, that's why we'd go there early....like 3:30 or 4.
But it's not in SF, so no coyote.
err....wait loveparade starts at 2. So I guess we'd go earlier.
Is Gordon Birsch that arcade/pub place? |
