yeaa public transportation is the way to go

and u'd be helping the environment too, like u guys really care about that haha

update:

I will now be driving to SF from El Monte (San Gabriel Valley) If any of you LA heads need a ride, i will be leaving after work around 4 o'clock and heading to SF. If you are in my area, let me know and we can car pool, a place to crash is on you however, i believe i'm taking up some floor space at my cousins. I will be leaving probably before 6pm on Sunday.

Whover comes with me must come along and eat at Top Dog in Berkeley. OMG how i miss your lemon chicken Top Dog.

Hey y'all. Listen Up. I just came across a new "hostel" in SF, that is a great place for you guys to stay at next weekend. Here are the dets.

It's on Mission Street, right next to Lazlo/Foreign Cinema. This place is brand new and really friggin cool. It just opened 3 weeks ago. I talked to some people staying there, and they HIGHLY recommended it. It's very modern, tres chic, you can have your own room with bathroom for $60, or shared dorm-style for $22. This has to be the nicest "hostel" I have ever seen in SF. They have a full restaurant and bar, w/ mezzanine with absolutely TONS of lounging space (actually I was inquiring about using the place for a party, it's huge, really cool)....anyways, back to the hostel. They also have a huge roofdeck with a great view of the city,

Here's the info I have from their biz-card:
Medjool
2522 Mission Street SF,CA 94110
415-550-9055
www.medjoolsf.com
(I think this is from the restaurant part of the building, but they should be able to direct you to the hostel.)

Anyways, it's not "on the parade route" but not at all that far, and it's a part of town with character, near lots of bars, restaurants.

I live in town, so not much use for me, but looks would be a great place to kick it for a few days for those of you needing accomadation.

Good luck.....fupaking
