But if you had sex before you got raped, rape is still rape, it does not matter about it. The question comes down to...did you say no and did he continue and did you get raped by Kobe or not. See Kobe's defence team can say all they want about getting a fair trial but when did your past make a damn of difference unless you were crying rape all the time. People have sympathy for Kobe but I don't, he reeped what he sowed and he will get taken apart in the civil trial, he will pay for his actions. OJ got off but got taken apart in the civil trial. Kobe's team was going to trash the poor girl anyway, her life would have been on trial but it was kobe and his actions that should have been on trial but that's how ass backwards our countries have become. The defence has a legal right to question problems but their rights have gone way too far. No rape victim should have their damn life put on trial but that's why we have crackheads like the ACLU, who just bitch for criminals and their rights. Your rights go down the drain, the minute you violate someone else's

EDIT: WTF

Heh. Doubtful a girl like that would say no to a famous basketball player - especially if she was as promiscuious as everyone thought her to be.

Yes but you have to remember, I'm not someone who has sympathy for anyone that commits a crime, criminals should be given hard time for their mistakes. See most of you say that Kobe is innocent, it does not matter what her high school friends say, nor does it matter what the rest of the world thinks, she says no and he continues, that's rape no matter how you look at it. If she was really after the money, she would have told him pay me 4 million and I'll never tell anyone. Remember his wife never knew about his idiocy and adultry till he was going to be charged and he fessed up.

Yea it doesn't matter what her friends say or what her sexual history is. What DOES matter is the fact that she had sex with another man AFTER the purported rape, June 30 2003, and before she contacted the authorities, June 31 2003. If that isn't enough, the icing on the cake is that she's refusing to testify in the criminal trial, in order to make a better case in her CIVIL trial... aka the trial that involves monetary damages. Some peopel need to realise that the system is capable of abuse from either side.
torontotrance
I never once said the system was perfect nor did I say that people don't try to take advantage of it but usually your intentions come out at some point, if you are doing it for the wrong reasons.

How many championship rings does Dennis Rodman have? I think he played just fine for long enough (so what if he went all fruity?)

The woman's a whore and it's a scam for money. It's funny how easily some people are duped.

Yep.

She might be a whore in it for money, but she might be telling the truth - in which case Kobe should be in jail.
