NO ONE chanted the "Nah nah naaaah naaaah" to Punk. I was disappointed

OMFG!!!!!
why?????????
i can tell you that down south here in toronto...Ferry almost turned all the volume down cuz the crowd just went NUTS during "punk"...moment of the night by far (and there was lotsa competition).

Overall tho sounds like you guys had a blast up there in montreal. SO is it safe to call this joint collaboration between TO and MTL a success???????

was there like a video feed to montreal or something from labour of luv, cuz ferry and sander and all those guys were at guv on sept 5th, i was there. maybe im missing something, please let me know.
ninjahola

Whats the big deal with PUNK???
seriously...that track is so old....and is not even good.....

People go nuts on bad tracks because they listen to Mix 96 during the week and MC Mario puts Rock you Body like 30 times in a row.

So when it plays in a big event, they go "hey, I know that one! cool!"

Ok, here's my belated review:

Got there at about 2-2:30 and endured the slightly nerve-racking security check. But like already mentioned, the sight of 10K ppl dancing on the stadium floor once you got in was unforgetable.

As for visual, not much can be said other than that they were amazing! Great lighting, vids, lasers, etc..

The sound was alright. There was a huge amount of base which was kind of cool, but it was hard to hear some of the synths in a lot of the songs.

I caught the last hour or so of Digweed's set, which i found to be pretty good. He played some interesting stuff. However, I have to say that Sander K stole the show. Amazing beats and just great flow in general. Alter ego - rocker :eyes: . Wicked song. As for Ferry, well i think he blew a little Hot and Cold. Opening with Prodigy was definantly a welcome surprise, but he seemed to be all over the place. I'm a trance fan, but when he started to lay down the trance, I dunno, it just sounded a little flat. But all in all, he played some nice songs. Contrary to most here, I thought Deep Dish was pretty boring. Yes, they played some nice tracks like greece, but for the most part it was just big bass and nothing much else. I only stayed till 9:30 though, so I can't really comment further.

All in all, a great night! Probably the best party I've been too, even if a little steep moneywise..

Sander, Ferry and Deep Dish were flown from Toronto to Montreal after their sets at LoL to play early morning sets at Cream.

Cream was one of the worst parties I ever attended. But I also had one of the best times ever. Only because of the kick-ass people I was with, and the music was really good (except for Ferry,- which one of these kids is doin his trance thang, which one of these kids just doesnt belong.)But my god what the hell was up with the big shirtless gay massage everwhere! The crowd was soooo sketchy it made me ill. And the security was in ridiculous my friend got kicked out for havin a half gram of weed in pocket that she forget she even had....gimme a break, take the dope and let her in, they wanted to charge her and everything - bastards.
Oh and lets not forget 5$ waters...What the !!!!! 5$!!!! insane and only hot water flowin out of the taps in the bathrooms...barf.
But the lights and sound were pretty good, Music was hot, and I danced my ass off with my Danceforce crew so that made it good, but my god, sometimes I wasnt sure wether I was at a big gay massage party, or an electronic music party! Come on peeps give that up!
Why is it that I have to deal with that nasty just cause I like electronic music??? All I can say is thank god for my hat, so I could pull my brim over my eyes and Imagine I was among kool people who came to the party to dance.
Anyways I did have a fun time just cause Danceforce was there, and as always we accomplished our mission - Devastate the dancefloor - worldwide baby.- Believe.
Thx to all the kool katz
Peace

Sure it's old, but that doesn't mean anything. When Ferry played it at Aria during the Right of Way tour, people chanted to it. It felt amazing being part of a crowd who was into it.
