I saw someone die today

Today me and my sister, her boyfriend and my brother were coming back from a forced family trip. As we were approaching kingston, traffic about 10 cars ahead suddenly stopped to a grinding halt. we saw some dust ahead...

I got out of my car... and there were two young ladies...about 20 years of age, lying in the middle of the highway floor covered in blood.

Their car skid out of control hit a boulder and they were thrown out like rag dolls onto the highway

One girl, was alraedy turning blue, her eyes were rolled back and the good passers by tried to do CPR on her... however, as i stood above her (just in case anybody needed help).. they started to yell out that her pulse was fading. I saw her turn grey... not moving... not breathing...nothing.

She died in my sight.

The other girl was breathing however, moaning from pain. Then the helicopter landed.. and the paramedics took over.

Im writing this to all those who dont wear their ing seatbelts.

Please wear them, dont risk your life. These girls thought it could never happen to them, but one of them sadly lost their lives lying in a pool of her own blood on the 401.

Its ironic though.. before the crash happened we were yelling at my brother to put his seat belt on becuase he is risking his life. He thinks that he is "safer" as a back seat driver, therefore he doesnt need a seat belt. After he witnessed the crash, he put it on

I hope none of you witness the disturbance i expereinced today...be safe.

It's truly unfortunate that you stood witness to such a horrific event.

I hope the other victim has a full recovery.

well dude im sure when u watch a person die it doesnt only teach u to wear ur seatbelt..im sure ur thinking abt a million different other things...NA is too much of a bubble for me

That's aweful. Quite often I have to force a few friends of mine to put thier seatbelt on, or I refuse to even move the car. Often they'll bitch saying "dude it wont be your ticket". It's not the ticket that I really care about - putting on a seatbelt is a very trivial effort that helps prevent a person from flying out a window that can lead to death or a serious injury. If they don't agree, they can get out of my car and try to risk thier life in someone elses vehicle...

On the way back from Montreal we saw all the traffic and the dust too.. took us forever to get out of there and we didn't know what happened.. that is so sad :(

However, I can understand - I used to be lazy on the seatbelt thing too until you see a few pictures of what happens to people when they don't wear one - not pretty.

That's ed up. I can't believe some people don't wear seatbelts. It's beyond stupid.
