I basically went temporarily crippled after Sander. My ligaments and tendons felt like they were gonna tear away from my ankle during Deep Dish's set. I ing danced it out hardcore for 4 straight hours non-stop. Was I rolling, of course not, was I on K, of course not, was I on tina, of course not... but I sure did ing look it. :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:
I had to leave early cause I had to go put my foot on ice - I was in pain after dancing my life out to Sander, and chances are if Sander would have spun another 2 1/2 hours, I would be breaking my foot dancing and I wouldnt stop. |

Just got home ,wow what a trip of drama and fun to say the least. Whoa Canada is so freakin cool. I finally made it out the US (it's about damn time you know)I won't be saying much right now I am way to tired and why the hell I am righting.
and also Mark Oliver/FERRY CORSTEN /and Nu Nrg onwed me for the night.Infusion was alright,I gotta say there freakin genuines they put on a good show. Godddddddddddddd DJ Icey was way to pack :o .More about trip tomorrow.:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: |

just got back from a 12hr drive
and...
toronto was the .:crazy:
sander k owned me, that blur-song 2 remix was sickk, its gonna be the next matthew dekay vs beastie boys - intergalactic of this year. also that remix of smack my bitch up was insane, though he could of mixed the vocal part in, but i was way to ed up to barely remember how it sounded like. ferry was decent, nu nrg was eh and infusion was good but sander def took the cake. did any1 else notice him mixing up visuals with the music with one of those brand new pioneer dvd players?, its like a brand new concept of djin, soon every djs gonna hafta mix up visuals as well as music..kinda weird but anyways, nice meeting all the tota's and whoever else i met. |

Alyssa and I just got back from Toronto... and all we gotta say that we got in PWNED like no other!!
Mark Oliver opening set was pretty good.... Trooped over to the Guv for Sander K. Not bad since it was my first time hearin him live... after an hour of how Joey and Brian will say... "SANDER SANDER SANDER IN K", we went back to KH, and caught the last 45min of Mark Oliver.
Ferry came on and in tore that up. I havent seen ferry this whole year, and what a way to see this nigga spin. One of the hardest ive hear from him...
After Ferry, NU-NRG came on.... OMG... they in r0x0rz my B0x0rz lol Non-stop hard poundin beats
Infusion from down under was pretty good! lol
Well here is my review cuz i cant think much riight now. There are side stories about this trip that ill post up...pixx will be posted later.
SPECIAL THANX TO Artie for the ride, Natalie for the generous stay and bbq, Josey for offering the riide up to TO even though it didnt work out as planed Joey and Brian for the hotel stay, the rest of NYTA that made it up to Labour of Love, and the TOTA for makin NYTA right at home. |

Ok well let me finally update with my review...
FIRST OFF
What a day to wake up too, nice and rainy and grey out....WTF - so yeah it was a mother****** to wake up this morning but hey you gotta do what you gotta do right? Anyways...
I got to toronto friday and chilled out with my friends. Saw/did so much in toronto. Even managed to head out to Niagra. Took like 1.5hrs to drive out there but it was well worth it.
More onto the party...
I met alot of new TAs and saw the familiar ones. Brian's room seemed to be ground zero. Everyone and their moms was in that room, in and out. So my group decides to head over to the party around 9pm we get there around 930pm only to see the line wrap around the corner onto lakeshore road. Fortunately enough they grabbed the section of the line from the corner and moved it to another entrance which got us in within 20-30mins. The main line was wayyyy too long.
So we get inside and it was empty as hell...big ole space with no people. My thought was damn its gonna get packed in here...you know that feeling you have when you see the space before its packed and realize that damn this place is gonna get crowded...yup it got crowded.
The set times gave us the opportunity to catch

Nic threw down a dope set, lots of energy and great build ups.
Sander K rocked it like non-other.
Ferry pumped the trance as usual
Deep Dish I approve but I've seen before..
Infusion OWNED THEM ALL. Its great to see them get hyped before they drop the bass on you. It's like that hint that something big is coming, the only thing is you dont know how big it really is...then its pure craziness.
Overall, what a dope weekend, and I couldn't ask for anymore at Labour of Love. GREAT ING WEEKEND! |
