Even after everything's thats happened, I still **can't believe** that we even made it up there...seems like there were forces out there which were trying to keep us from making it....Long story ahead but ill try to make it short.
Wells, before Friday we were 50/50 about going to Toronto cuz of many reasons, but up to Friday Morning we had decided that we were going to head up in Josy's minivan with Arty, Josy and company from Baltimore/DC on Saturday morning...Friday morning comes, and it suddenly turns out that Alyssa wasnt gonna make it to LOL because of family reasons. In fact we were saying that there would possibly be a 3% CHANCE that we would *even* go up, while going through an incredibly personal, stressful and emotional afternoon...Defeated by this realization, we come home around 5pm, only to see Jose online, who tells us that Josy is COMING down to NYC to pick our asses up for Toronto...well in the next HALF HOUR we *ultimately* decided TO GO -- after taking care of some errands -- which didnt enable us to meet up with Josy after all. Then, the plan was to leave NYC Friday Night to meet with Josy and Art at his place in New Jersey near Rutgers, then DRIVE down to DC...then to come up in Josy's minivan Saturday morning. Well, because of errands, extenuating circumstances, and car trouble we didnt even leave NYC till close to midnite, and then we got to Arty's place around 1am. Eventually we (Josy, her kids, Arty, and us) decided to start back down to Baltimore/DC -- non-stop. It was Arty and me in one car, following Josy and Alyssa in her minivan. Keep in mind that none of us have slept YET...and that the three 'tri-staters' are going SOUTH to go NORTH the next morning...craziness
Well we get to DC around 6am -- and we were to leave RIGHT away but then somehow we thought Josy and them werent gonna leave till 10am for *some* reason (???). Welps there was a very koo TA BBQ we absolutely werent going to miss, and word was that other NYTA krews had started up already...so Arty makes the decision to go up asap using his own car, his Golf TDI Turbo...which altho a powerful car, was only running on THREE cylinders n the turbo wasnt spooling. Top Speed was 85/90 downhill. WELL we start up toward Toronto, Arty n I taking turns sleeping and driving...and in the process PASS BY SIXstates/regions (not in order): Maryland, Virginia, WVirginia, Pittsburgh toward Cleveland (and we could only gawk as we see these signs going by during the first 4 hours cuz we wouldnt have usually passed these states going up from NYC)...then finally Pennsylvania AND THEN finally *back* to Upstate New York...I get only 20 minz of sleep, Alyssa keeps knocking out in the front seat, Arty asses out for about 2 hours in da back...4pm we get to the border and are BACKED up for almost 1.5 hours in a two laner resembling a PARKING LOT...then amidst some drama getting off Lakeshore too freakin early and trying to find CarLaw and Langley (everyone is somewhat irritated from lack of sleep and also it seemed like NO ONE In Canada knew where da f0ck tatgrl's place even WAS)...we *finally* make it...only to find out that we are amongst the first NYTAS to even make it to the BBQ (well except for Francis who flew there that morning). Well u can only imagine our relief at finally making it there.
Anyways no regrets and it was def WORTH all the troubles.

| Does anybody remember that crack house club we went to on Saturday night??? Bahahahah...Brent was so ing drunk the door man made us go down the street and buy him a water before he could come in!!!:stongue: :stongue: :stongue: By the time we got inside....we were friggin sooo wasted. This place was three stories high.....latin music on the first floor, hip hop on the second, and house on the third. We danced our drunk asses off for a awhile and tryed to pick up some bitches but we were way to wasted. ahahhahaa .....I don't remeber after that. Somebody said Brent and me almost got kicked out of the hotel.......I wanna hear the stories!!!:haha: :wtf: :crazy: |

listen. i dont know WTF you all were seeing. Cause aside from the hair that dude looked liked he was an evil devil from the dark side of the moon. i swear he scared the out of me!!!! :eyes: but i loved it. ooohhh boy did i love it.
no more traveling in groups for me. i can't stand having to make everyone happy. :p |

JOE's SUCKED ASS!!! Indy will agree with me on that!! When she andf I finally made it there to search for u all, went to every friggin floor looking and after leaving each one, we'd look at eachother and say...." I can't picture them in that hole, let's check out another floor and see if it's different!!!" |
