| i think a lot of people from the older generations still have trouble accepting the mass immigration that went down in the 50's from jamaica and other places and use any excuse to vent their anger at 'their' country being taken over. remember that most of these older generation grew up when Britain had an Empire and people from those countries which Britain ruled were considered as unequals. still no excuse for it , but hopefully such attitudes are dying out as the people that hold them do. |

thats the thing, for people like those, it is ignorance, but i don't believe they've ever been taught anything else
its imbued in their blood and their brain to think this way, its not like the person just woke up one morning and thought to themselves, 'damn, minorities really suck!'
that's what makes it such a hard problem to deal with
it stems as a cultural norm to think those thoughts, not a conscious decision |

some guy called me a "spic" (im mexican) once not a fun for anyone involved
2 arrest
1 trip to the er for the racist
3 times a week for anger managment
and 1 hefty fine for me cause even though he started it i hit him first it felt good to beat the out that guy
i cant stand racist people |

It is not only the white race that is racist, but they do have a history. Everybody is at some time in their lives.
I myself was told to go back to Iran(probably it was the only country name he knew) a couple of years back. Ignorance and racism is a sad combination. |

:D I'm glad some of us stand up for ourselves. I grew up in suburban oregon, where I ways always outnumbered by whites so standing up for myself would mean I get the sh@t kicked out of me:( so i learned to deal with it, kind of. |
