hehehe...i'll admit he is a bit funny-lookin, looked even funnier when i saw him on tv! but it doesn't really matter what dj's look like...it matters what/how they spin...and i just dont like what he spins.

ohhh no i dont dislike like that.... hes overated ...but i would rather see him then many other djs ...but i just think hes really funny looking |

Well, I really dislike Oakenfold.
He thinks too highly of himself when in fact he's a parvenu. (Look that up.) As a matter of fact he said this himself, only in slightly different words.
Whoever said Talla 2XLC is the true pioneer, I agree completely with you! Or, as they say in Canada/England? (we don't say it here in the US) "word" :)
Whoever said it doesn't matter what Oakenfold looks like, you're wrong, because DJ'ing is a social job where looks and personality *do* matter. |

That doesn't make any sense bro. If he's overrated (& he is)wouldn't u rather spend $40 to see better DJ's who play *new* tunes.
Personally, I think shelling out $40 to hear 2 hours of stale played tunes is a rip off! But then again for some its not bout the tracks being played but partying in general...popping pills etc. I could care less bout what a DJ loooks like...its not a beauty pageant. |

he is overrated but i seen djs far worse then oaky ..and i would go see oaky over them...thats what i ment... Dj Jean, ATB just to name a few!! heheh |

I am absolutely serious.
To be a popular and successful DJ you must be charismatic, in addition to having the technical skills.
DJ'ing a social job, the DJ interacts with the crowd.
If the DJ is grim-faced and just stands chances are the party will not be very good. |
