| is in my class. he told me today that he saw tiesto on sunday night (L O LOVE) in the orange room. then he goes on telling me that paul van dyk is coming to toronto this saturday. lol and then he told me that theres a new track that just got released, and the name is: "holding on to nothing". i dont know what to say. i think its just funny. i told him hes right. lol. |

dj shan: im sure if we had a conversation about a few music matters in EDM you'd feel pretty dumb at the end of the day too. or with many people i know for that matter. why not try to educate this person? No wonder why there are so few EDM fans with music snobs like you running around.

| Thats pretty amusing :) But imagine if YOU were new to trance. I know thats hard, but all you do is replace it with different genre completely unknown to you. Say blues or country. Now can you honestly tell me you could go to some bar, listen to country and tell me if it's one of the biggest country musicians in the world or just some local? Unlikely, right? Now you see what i mean. Even though names like Tiesto and PVD are so well known to us, most people will give you a blank look if you bring them up. I remember bringing a bunch of CDs to a New Year's Party. When i was popping the first one in, i listed some of the biggest names in dance music and asked the crowd what they prefer. Every last person was like "WHO? HUH? WHA?". |

because he was a gino! he not only had spikes, but had a z103 t-shirt on. if that sounds dumb well not my problem, i only educate the ones who arent show off's. ;) |

well i remeber that when i was new to trance i didnt go around tellign people that some dj came to toronto and played when they never actually did. and tiesto in the orange room? ye rite.. lol. |

AHHHHH I have a classmate exactly like this !!
He was looking at my ipod and says "I like trance too you know, I am a huge trancehead, you could learn a lot from me". So I tested him out to make sure he is real by asking him who is fav DJ is, he says scooter ! I asked him what his most recent track is, he says Tiesto - flight 643 !!! Instead of going along with this insanity, I started arguing with him. I got really pissed and told him to never talk to me about trance again. lol |

You know what? im sick of people trying to stop ginos from liking dance music. Sadly they are the majority of clubbers in Toronto and if we ever want the scene to be where it was before they have to be involved. Otherwise we are doomed to DMX and G-Unit forever. |
