| I use piracy sotware because it is only hobby and if I when I'll earn money from this then I'll buy original software. I don't pay 1000 $ for checking and testing progs. I don't live in rich country to do that. Sorry |

If you can't afford it, then you don't have the right to it, and certanly not the right to steal it.
Its the most basic form of law and moral. Get a grip.
And it is still very illegal, and crimminal to steal something, regardless of anyone not directly losing money.
Can we all rob and steal from rich people then ?

you don't call people names, his reason are like many others, and alot of these people, DO BUY STUFF WHEN THEY GET BETTER.
And please, stop with the ferrari crap example, youl buy a ferrari because you know how to drive a car, and if people could download a ferrari they would done that.

First. Please point out where I said that I actually do it. I used myself as an EXAMPLE. Now stop calling me idiot.
There's a freaking HUGE difference between stealing a ferrari and downloading an expensive computer program.
When I (again, this is an example) steal a ferrari, the person who owns it will LOSE his car, which is probably worth a lot (of money) to him.
When I (...) download software, no company NOR no person will ever lose something - cause I didn't STEAL it. It's just a copy, and the original is left intact.
Before using the argument that they didn't get my money, think again.
BTW, people who steal are amongst the worst people I know.
Laugh at me if you want to :roll:
I could find some examples of companies who "like" piracy if you wish :) |

Its so obvious you dont have a clue.
Isnt paying for software is a big part of software getting better ? You just leech of other peoples money, time and effort.

So if i didnt know how to drive, i could steal a car coz i want to learn how to drive ?

One of the things you are stealing, is what ever you get out of that software.
And when these wannabe's whine and rant in here and other boards, that they dont know how to do this in Fruity or that in Vanguard, or change samplerate in Cubase, you steal even more time, effort and money.
But i guilt will always find a way or argument to defend it self.

| Everything is fine, you guys have right but software it is NOT hardware so if can download soft to check it and decided to buy it would be great. It is like go to shop and check hardware and if I like i buy, if don't so I won't buy and NOT stole of course. Piracy software is good to learn, for begginers like me for example . I hope that you've got my point |

oke, that comparison is from a different level ofcours.. but i think there are a lot of people who cant afford it and then download software. also to find out wether they like it or not. you don't like to spent a huge amount of money on something you are not going to use anyway. then again most people just can't afford it anyway and need to save for ages to buy.
i'm not trying to justify, cos it is illegal. but i can understand. it's not like buying a coke.

It has been tested and proven that in many instances, people are more likely to buy software/music/games after testing those products than if they were to simply buy based on word of mouth.
IMO, if a person downloads cracked software, plays around on it, likes it, and buys it, everybody wins. The individual has found a product that he enjoys, the software company still gets the money. To me the only problem is when people download cracked software and then continue to use it without ever intending to purchase it.
Just saying "it's illegal, simple as that" is not going to work. Do you only cross streets on the cross walks? |

unfortunately very few of music production tools, such as synths come as shareware version, and shareware / demo versions of sequencers are often lacking in features.
my "studio" is now all legal, but there is no way i could have got to this by buying everything i thought looked cool, access have huge demo days where u can go, try, and marvel at what their synthesisers can do. on the other hand native instruments does not, there is sometimes no other way to try stuff out before purchasing than by doing it the illegal way. what imo is wrong is that if you keep it and don't buy it. then that way you are damaging the scene by keeping the money away from them. same goes for mp3s, if u like them buy them, in the long run you are only harming yourselves by damaging the scene you love.

once i was making alot of money, i purchased every single piece of software i use!
even spent some of the money on hardware aswell. |
