Glasses are always hard, I dont wear them so Ive got no real idea for you but contacts can be a real pain the bum to live with.
For pale skin like yours if youre going to wear a lot of makeup for going out I would recommend the Shiseido Control Colour foundation, it comes in a stick so its pretty easy to use. Whats good about this one is that it more or less counteracts the redness in the skin with the green tint (dont worry you wont go green!) and use a powder foundation over the top of that to even it all out.
You have nice cheekbones and distinctive features so you could carry off the glamourous look if you wanted too, but I think your probably better off using natural colours to accentuate them. Cant really go wrong with them, stay away from dark lipsticks and really dark eye liners, far better using a lighter tone and working with your natural complexion. If you want to/must use pastel colours then try to use the same colour as your eyes or a complimentry colour, its a bit hard to tell what colour they are from the photos.
As for the hair, I love my long hair but thats just me, the lighter highlights worked well for you and I think you should go get them done again. Depends if you want to be really noticed and stand out or just blend in and be nice looking. Having light hair you could carry a darker colour easy, but I would stick to burgandy's, Rose blacks and the like.
Worse comes to worst, hunt around for ideas/pictures that other people with similar face structure and hair colour have done and experiment with those.
Preferably in the privacy of youre own home so you dont scare anyone :D |

I dont mind red hair, and it looks fine on you. Dye I'm pretty sure can really kill your hair, especially over time - since as your hair grows out, the inner ends of it are your natural color, thus you must dye it regularly or it will look crazy. Highlights are a different story, but I can't tell you much about those.
IMO your hair is fine (tho I like it longer), but what I think you need the most is a bit of a tan. Just my opinion of course. |

first of all, you need to sport your pale skin...i have fair skin with light freckles too, but they never show up in pictures and you can only see them if you are like really close to me...so yea, stay out of the sun and embrace that porceline look:) it's hotter in my opinion, and you'll be the one who looks years younger when you're 30 because you weren't a sun worshiper:)
ok what i would reccommend from looking at your pic (the first one), is puting some chunky blonde streaks in your hair but keeping a lot of the red too....and the short look is very sexy and confident, so i like that.
as far as eye shadow/colors, if you have green/blue eyes like me (i'm assuming you do), i've found that purple/plum colors look great...they make them look really green and cat like. I always go for that smokey smudged look too w/ black eye liner...it looks really sexy with pale skin and then don’t wear any lipstick, just pale lip glosses...almost white looking ones.
just put a thin line of black eyeliner on your top eye lids along the lashes, and don't worry about getting it straight or even because when you're done, take your finger tip (while sort of stretching out your eye lid from the corner with your other hand) and smudge it in back and forth motion along the eyelash line...and there you have that smokey look...it looks awesome. i hope that wasn't too confusing!
also, when applying eye shadow, start with a really light frosty color (silver, white or even a very pale purple) and put that at the top right under your eyebrows...then take the darker shades and put them on your actual eyelid and even out to the side a little bit, focusing on that part of your brow bone that ends right before your eyeball...it makes your eyes look bigger...
for blush, I would just stick to a peachy, almost flesh colored one...like a light bronze color.
the only time i sport lipstick is when i don't do dramatic eye make up...it's too much to have dark eyes and then put on a dark lipstick...i usually just go w/ gloss, because i love over doing the eye make up best. but sometimes, i get in the mood for dark red lipstick, so in that case, i just put a little bit of light eye shadow (like beige) and some black mascara...then just the lipstick.
ok i'm done....god i love make up and girly stuff...i wish i could do your make up it would be so much fun:crazy: |

Proud to be pale, that's what I say!! ;)
I've got quite pale skin too. Granted, I dont wear make-up (:p), but I dont think that you need to either. And I always thought that glasses make people look, intellectual, but not in a nerdy way lol. I'd say thin frames for your glasses, shortish hair (highlighted blonde) and very little make-up. That natural look is always best I think.

All I have to say is you don't need to do anything to your look because you are smoking hot as you are.
I love pale skin on a girl, so show it off with skimpy outfits. In that one pic your stomach shows a little, that is hot you should wear some belly shirts.
As for makeup, I don't know about it because I'm a guy, but from the looks of you should not use much. There is nothing worse than seeing a girl with tons of makeup on like it was applied with a trowel. Cuz as a guy you start wondering what the hell she is covering up with all that makeup. Since your eyes are pretty, maybe do something bold with the eyes, but everything else makeup wise should be minimal. Show off your perfect skin.
For glasses, thin frames with small lenses are way hot. I actually like girls better with those type of glasses than without.
Did I mention you are hot? |

Just to clarify things, she was asking for tips on a new look...there is nothing wrong with reinventing yourself, I do it all the time. It just makes you feel more confident that you switched your look up and you just feel better. And as for the whole natural look, I’m all for that too. I walk out of the house all the time with no make up on, but when I go out clubbing or out to dinner and stuff, that’s when I like to put make up on.
The only time I think it’s a turn off when a girl has too much make up on, is when she has too much foundation on. If you don’t know what foundation is guys, it’s the flesh colored liquid you put on your face to cover up any blemishes. There’s nothing wrong with putting a little bit on to even out your skin tone and just have that smooth look, but when chicks cake it on and have ugly make up line along their jaw, that is nasty. If you have beautiful skin, then you don’t even need that stuff. In Theresa’s case, she doesn’t need any of that.
Just because a girl wears make up doesn’t make her fake and doesn’t mean she is ugly without it...it just enhances certain features and it’s fun. That’s like if I were to say, “I don’t like it when a guy has hair gel in his hair, it makes me wonder if he really is cute without it or if he really has nice hair”. |

Yeah, but you can pretty much tell by looking at a girl if she looks pretty without her makeup or if she is caking that on to hide a bunch of imperfections.
I agree with you, the foundation is usually what tells the story. If you have your eyes or lips all done up, that is just showing off features, kinda like wearing jewelry. If you have a quarter inch of foundation plastered on your face, you probably have a ton of flaws you are hiding. Just giving the guy's perspective. |

| i agree about that, you're right...i just thought you were saying that it's a turn off in general if a girl wears any make up...which i think is kinda dumb. but that's just me...and hey, to each their own...if a guy hates when a girl wears any make up whatsoever, then i'm not the one for him! i love the stuff, it's so much fun. look at all the models, they are gorgeous, and guess what? they wear lots of make up for photo shoots...just makes them even hotter...but they also probably look the best when they first wake up in the morning with nothing on:) |

| I have strawberry blond hair much like yours, maybe a little bit lighter. My friend's sister works at a salon here in town, and I started going there a few months ago. I had never colored my hair and she explained that different color dyes color different color hair differently. If you want to go with color, make sure you see a professional and have it done right. She gave me platinum blond streaks and it looks awesome. It's not even that it's that noticeable, it just lightens your hair a little bit. Looks really good though. Be careful of overdoing your make up. Make up is good if it accentuates, but you don't want to have it caked on, IMO. I know what it's like to deal with the pale thing, I'm a strawberry blond Norwegian. The sun and I don't get along. Don't worry about that, but I understand taking it into consideration for color schemes and make-up. |
