Im pretty late in saying this, but I thought you looked rather good in the pictures with your longer hair. Ever tried dying it jet black? how about Bronde (light brown). I like to do radical changes when I do anything so, you should possibly ignore the later half of this post...
Edit, I think you look better with glasses, but thats all personal prefrence, and probably how im used to seeing you (based on the avatar you had when I first became active on teh COR) |

yeah, you'd be surprised... using a hairdryer can work wonders. some days i have to because my hair is really stubborn...most days im lazy and dont even bother with it though.
and Theresa, you already look smashing -- i dont think you should change, unless you really feel like you want to. if you do, and you're satisfied with the results, it gives a nice little confidence booster...people will notice a difference in you, and not only in your appearance. as far as tips, well...the girls are going to be able to help you out more than i will. i'm gay, but not quite gay enough to know anything about makeup or hairstyles or clothing styles. heh. but there are some situations where your clothes can contribute to how old you look. experiment a little with different clothing styles and see what you like.. it certainly couldn't hurt - nothing to lose here.
and someone also mentioned getting contacts. i can't tell you enough how much this can really bring out your eyes, as i think you expressed interest in doing. i have blue eyes, got contacts about 18 months ago, not colored ones, just regular clear ones...and every so often someone will compliment me on how blue or how bright my eyes look. and again, my contacts aren't colored. i never had nearly as many compliments on them when i wore glasses. i haven't quite figured out yet why they appear bluer or brighter, but as i'm sure you're already aware, its very flattering to get compliments about your eyes. and you mentioned your cool eyes - so definitely try that if you can.

Sorry for offending you, but I have grown to trust a lot of the TA's on here now that I have become good friends with most, so I wanted to get their advice.
I am not overly insecure about my appearance, I just wanted to switch it up a little. But thanks for your concern. |
