You know what i think it is? The people that were "happy" were not rejoicing the death of innocent civilians.. but more a rejoicing of America getting a slap in its face for once.
Im sure if I were Iraqi, Palestinian, Guatemalan, Serbian, Vietnamese, Panamanian, Nicaraguan to name a few races...i would feel a sense of satisfaction after exerienceing the state terror that has killed millions in these countries... all funded, supported, and executed by the United States of America |

Wow, for someone enjoying the freedom that you currently hold because of your American suppressors, you've got a lot to say. :rolleyes:
Why don't we talk about the genocide that happened (and is happening) in a few countries that the US hasn't been to because other countries can't control themselves?
How many innocent civilians have been slaughtered by their own country? 100? 1000? 100,000?
Here's a number; 800,000 in 100 days.
Was that by the US?
I'd post where but I'm sure I don't have to as everyone should know where that was.

No, but that would be good example.
For instance, it's quite clear that Canada is willing to let their own armed forces diminish to the point of degradation because we know we have a good relationship with a country willing to defend us.
We may have a good relationship for the most part with most countries (minus Iran right about now) but at some point, being a leader in the world does mean making contributions when needed and called upon... |

Ok, now you're putting words in my mouth, because I certain didn't type that anywhere... :rolleyes:
Nor did I say anything about WWII; yet another assumption.
If you're trying to say something then just say it instead of leading a false arguement cause I'm not sure where you're trying to steer the conversation...
My arguement was easy. The USA plays the role of world police force because that's their obligation being a world leader.
It's like the societal feigned coolness to dis the neighborhood cops except when something serious goes down, the first question that always goes down, "Where's the cops??!??". |

Okay...I know I am alot late for this...but I just wanted to add my thoughts and respects for the rememberance of all on Sept 11th!
I remember it well....It was a Tuesday and I was sitting at home doing Laundry! I never watch the news and my girlfriend called me and said have you heard about the terrorists hijacking planes (this was the first one) and flew it into the World Trade Center! I was lIke "yeah whatever" ...she convinced me to turn it on and I watched just in time to see the second one hit!
I never watch disasters...but this was tooo much!
Albie (rebuffmedia) and I were prmoting Tuesday nights at LoveSexxy with KENNY GLASGOW!
We were both quite upset and REFUSED to let the terrorists get even more of what they wanted by closing up shop!
So we got on the phone...called ALL OF OUR FRIENDS and said, come on down...tonight is FREE and the so are the first rounds and WE ARE GOING TO PARTY...REVEL...AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST IN RESPECT FOR ALL LIFE ON EARTH!!
It turned out to be a great party...Everyone's TRUE WILL showed that night...and it is a night I will never forget when I TRULY saw the best in everyone!
