| I think you covered about all of them that I could think of. I'm still hoping for a "Greatest Moment in EDM" when Sarah McLachlan performs Silence live. :eyespop: |

As I typed that I thought exactly the same thing, and I was going to remove it but I couldn't because I think in time it will have become one of those shows that when you look back 10 years from now it will be remembered for being the Thursday trance show that everyone was glued to for the newest tunes to hit the scene...but you are very right by saying that it is another show, and perhaps that's just what it is and will always be, but I'd thought I'd throw it in there just in case ;) |

These are all trance moments (some albeit weak moments); not EDM.
Nothing about the first Renaissance compilation or Northern Exposure; as well as other contributions by Sasha and Digweed, and other pioneers like Nick Warren, Carl Cox, Leftfield and so forth?
What about events like Loveparade? Or young and extremely talented new-comers like James Holden or James Zabiela, who really took the DJ'ing industry to a new level? |

What about Renaissance: The Mix Collection, the first mix album.
And there is more to EDM than just trance, so Leftfield - Leftism and Sasha & Digweed - Northern Exposure both deserve a mention. |

Guys, I said:

As in lets all collectively come up with a list. I happen to be a trance fan so my addition to this thread is TRANCE related. The title of the post is "EDM's Greatest Moments"...I titled it that way for a reason... |

Nothing about the first Renaissance compilation or Northern Exposure? Or Leftfield, who were way ahead of the game. Or major events like Loveparade?
 |

Kraftwerk isn't trance.
Ibiza doesn't cater to just trance.
CD decks count for every genre of EDM.
The Essential Mix is not just trance.
So I guess you're right... The list is all-trance. |

Renaissance definitely deserves that honor.
What about Sasha and Diggers living in a tour bus DJing across America in Delta Heavy? ;) |
