Trance and hiphop are nothing to do with each other, and just because you like the underground side of one genre doesn't mean you can't like the mainstream side of another, or vice versa...
Anyway, other than trance/electronic stuff, I like...
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jack off Jill (I'm possibly the only non-depressed, straight, 17-y/o male in the world who enjoys listening to them, should I be proud? :p I like the Clear Hearts... album, mostly the more melodic, less shouting/screaming songs.)
Hip-hop - I like some of the underground stuff, although I'm not into it enough to know a lot of names. I also like some stuff like Dre, Snoop, even some Eminem (like his Marhshall Mathers LP). And some N*E*R*D/Neptunes stuff is great.

Shes right, you have absolutely no idea how the hip hop scene is, you dont listen to any hip hop, i'm sure you dont see MCs perform, i know you don't read up on any groups. So where are you basing any hip hop on? The only basis of your arguments are "Lil jon sucks, hip hop sucks". Thats the same as saying "DJ Aligator sucks, Trance sucks". |
