It will be appreciated by some, and if the reason for you to post such a low quality sample is allowed by the mods, this stays open.
But I'm not going to listen to 32kbps stuff, I have enough other stuff to listen to. I don't get it tho...
128kbps samples are NOT good enough to rip or whatsoever. Quality is just too bad. Post an edit (no intro/outro) and djs won't use it either.
This is not just pointed at you, nor it is personal. But all who duck below 128: it always annoyes me. :( |

I see that luke changed the rulez? very weak luke, iv seen people posting WAY better samples with their signed music(mk-s , haak, sean tyas etc.)
Well it is your bad indeed, and no your not friendly, your bitrate sux, what is there to share or to hear? So please explain me your kindess, you never reviewed one tune here, and comes posting in the lowest bitrate i have ever seen on TA.

I missed the part about the recordlabel stuff so I take back what I said :)
but as others have said, wouldn't it be possible to post a higher quality sample with either the best parts or voiceovers here and there? :) (just take the voiceover from airbase sessions or something) ;)
well anyway, about the track. imho it has a great sound, youve managed to stay away a little from your regular sound wich I think is very possitive (although it's nothing bad with your regular sound but variation is always great).
one thing that comes into my mind is how interesting it would be to hear this track with vocals :) |

It should be up to the producer what bitrate he uses imho - didn't make any difference to me except the download was quicker.
nothing stops me asking for a higher bitrate.
Labels do not like to take tracks that have been on the net at 128kbit - it's a very sad, but very true thing.
what maybe should be dealt with before the moaning about bitrates is the serious lak of comments per download a track here gets: my track below has just done 90 downloads - and has recieved 6 comments!!!
Massive84 - I'm sure airbase will review some tracks; hopefully starting with mine ;) - otherwise, he's been quite an active member in the other forums. |

It's up to me how fast i drive my car? no there are rulez period. if there wern't any you can drive as fast as you want.
There was this time when everyone suddenly thought his tune is label material, so we only saw samples of 96 bitrate or even 64!!!, TA was going downhill at that time, thats when Luke made the rulez with the TA community, and Luke we never said if you want to send it to a label you are allowed to post it in bitrate..this means everyone has the choice again to post it at what he wants, because who will decide now if something is label worthy or not? you?

If you are signed at a label, then why are you posting your tunes here? and your statement is not 100% true, Underwater is gettting signed, while he posted his Waterplanet full on TA, Haak posted Frenzy in a decent quality, and not it is signed on ASOT, and i heard it was the same with Bass shuttle. And don't forget Vadim Zhukov or Carl B?

If you are signed at a label, then why are you posting your tunes here?
you don't get signed to a lable any more... I have 4 tracks under consideration by 4 different labels - you get a track signed these days, not an artist. =)
- the reason we have to post tracks here is that there is no artist development in trance/dance any more - the record company wants a ready for sale track - when was the last time you heard of a record company saying "yeah, there is something there, let us pay for you to go into studio and work with an engineer to sort it out" - it just doesn't happen - your fellow producers are your engineers. If you are lucky they'll give it to a vinyl mastering engineer before they press it!

awesome track, Jezper.. Genie is one of my all-time fav tracks and this certainly gives it a "2K4" feel.. nice to see that the style of your productions is getting more complex |

just share a track or not at all imo and since he knows he is going for a label for it, why post it? he wants to share, whats to share at 32 bitrate? etc.
Luke is the moderator? and i find the new rule dangerouse, since everyone can post his tracks at 32kbs now because we can all say, yes i think il put my track up to label discussion.
Am not angry at all, am am a guy that is for all is equal, if other have to post it at min 96bitrate, so does Airbase. |

baaaah... who care's about the 32kbit thingie... i know for fact that jezper make's quality stuff, so i don't feel a need to check the quality of the track really.... just nice to hear it, and i think it sounds great :)
but i really like the new melodie man :)
