Review: Liebing, Parisio, & Picotto (pg. 6)

Went for Liebing, expecting to find a half-empty Guv with plenty o' room for dancing. Heard Liebing playing while we were in line, then he ended a few minutes after I'd gotten in. And seen the packed room.

I've been missing my techno, and I had a good time just on the basis of the music alone. Gaetano was great, and what I loved what I heard from Liebing in line. Picotto was okay, but I wasn't expecting a lot of hard techno from him anyway. I was happy with the techy beats I got. Athough the up and down flow of his set made it hard to get a rhythm, whenever he dropped something hard and driving I got to dancing again pretty quickly.

I'd wondered who was on again after Picotto left, and what I read here makes sense since the music got very hard once Mauro's red shirt disappeared from in front of the decks. Hung out with the TranceAddict's up on the stage (except for you, Sarah...) and met a few new cool people. Definitely worth it for me.

Allegory had a good time too, though she spent a lot of it chilling out on the patio.

I think you have no Idea what you're talkin' about!

Mauro who????

chris liebing owned it...one of the best sets ive seen this year..easily the best techno set ive seen this year.
Pariso was pretty damned good too..overall i was happy they moved it all to guv and it was less packed than i thought it would be.

as for picotto..what was he sick or something????he looked as bad as his track selection...couldve been just me tho :eyes:

Further to this:

The above quoted remix was played @ Guv. The Eric Prydz - Call On Me (Filterheadz Remix) was played by Dekoze the next morning.

I rocked it out hard to both versions... Not sure which one gets me going more. i guess I just like the uplifting melody of the chorus.

Liebing was wicked! Picotto needs a slap in the face...and Deko-ze killed me ;) :D

SS
Vogon
Hmmm. The plan was to see Liebing and Mark Oliver.
Well if Vogon wont see Mauro...
Mauro will come see Vogon.
Even with ear plugs in, everything after Liebang was just hell.
I spent the rest of the night praying for Mark Olver to return...

Well after this I am going to see Boy George rank or none he just has to be better, and that should put me in a good mood for Armin.
