W hat a sick night!!! So much room to DANCE!!! No stupid aSS lesbians spilling drinks on everyone. Just a bunch of old and new faces out to have a good time. Pete's opening set was awesome. He was droping some sick progressive building it up nicely for the main man..........MARCO IN V!!!! He came on at 1am and proceeded to kick the living out of everyone's asses!!! SICK SET!!! IMO he was waaaaay better than PVD two weeks ago. Sorry but it's the truth. My fourth time seeing Marco this year and everytime he just gets better and better. About 3/4th into his set, Pete let us all crowd up into the booth. One of the nicest DJ booths I have ever seen. Got to chat it up with Marco in between tracks.....hes one of the nicest DJs out there.....quiet fror the most part but damn we went nuts when we were all chanting MARCO ING V!!! It was pretty cool how he remembered me from his gig in Philly a few months ago. :toothless

Glad all the went very smooth last night, now what went down lastnight was how a Glow party is suppose to be like. Hahaha I was in the front of the line hehe. Got in at 10 or so. We made a spot to chill in the waiting lobby and every 5 minutes a TA or Glower would appear. It was a reunion at last :wtf: :toothless :crazy: and some new peeps. By 11 some of us where ed or drunk. We got down there and had so much room to dance around and even do cartwheels. I was had a great time with Petes uplifting and Progressive set and it has been so long since I last heard Pete spin and the highlight of his was Amiel - ANOTHER KKKKKKKKKKKKKIN LOVE SONG (sCUMFROGGGGGGGGGGGGG Remix)
My only problem was when Pete though it was smart to turn the bass up. We had to tell Dan Samspon to turn it little down Josy was basically shake by the bass :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:
It was my first time seeing Marco V and boy did he make a mark on my faovrite DJ's list. It was banger after banger hehe anyone who saw me lastnight doing unsual things that was not me okay :disbelief :disbelief :disbelief .I am glad everyone came that my highlight actully. Glow is finally here to stay and give us great memories

I had an awesome time! We were the first ones at the club prepartying with some jello shots, then spotted some of the crew in line. The club had the PERFECT number of people -- plenty of room to dance, and that was the best part. cuz BOY did we ever DANCE. i dont think i stopped even for a second. pete's opening set kicked ass and so does his new cd which we listened to about 5 times on the way home. marco v was sooooooo sick, even better than when i saw him in Toronto over the summer, and Antonis was nice enough to let us get up into the dj booth to watch him spin for awhile (nice booth!) And then the little afterparty in VIP was pretty chill, but our legs were ready to fall off so we only stayed for awhile.
but it was great meeting sooooo many people.
first of all, to my usual crew:
janette - we have officially earned back the title, wait til they see the outfits for M.I.K.E!
brian - one of my favorite party partners (and afterparty ;)) cant wait to dance our asses off again next week!
joey - so glad you came! but your snoring is outta hand! :eek:

Oh, it was a great night. I was too tired when I got to Glow but once I finally got pumped up I had a great time. Just give me some tasty tracks on a good sound system and a few square feet on the dance floor and I'm happy.

Im not really sure where to begin on this night. All i can really say was that this night definately ranks up there, mebbe top 5 all time greatest glow night for me. Seriously, just about every little kink I saw with the club was fixed, and things I saw wrong last night, was fixed shortly after. It really gave you a sense that someone was payin attention to detail and never stopped adjusting things to make it right.
When we first got in, I quickly saw a lot of the glow crew and some new recuits i told to come out. I knew right then and there it was gonna be a blast. In total, it was at least 30 of us altogether like old times, all of us anxious to go downstairs.
Drinks: I highly recommend getting ALL of your drinks upstairs. Its way cheaper. Also, I'm not sure if I have the liberty to say who it is, but my bartender was GREAT! Even though I could tell that she was overwhelmed at the time (forgot what beer they served), I told her to slow down and take her time. She took a deep breath and everything was straight. Even then, she was very polite, courteous and of course she made business from me all night as well as from a lot of my friends. Big props to Gerald for the recommendation.
Club: Everything was pretty much the same, though I still wish they would have some sorta lighting at the stairway so you can see the steps.
Sound: Sound was great when Pete came on, but near the end of Pete's set getting ready for Marco, the bass was turned up and distorted. Several songs later, it was fixed and holy it was nice. The bass was clearer than last week and the highs were very crisp. Absolutely no distortion whatsoever. Some ppl said the sound system sounds a lot better than Crobar's in NYC and not far behind from Arc's system. . . . which is no easy task.
Air conditioning: I dunno about everyone else, but I barely broke a sweat and I was stomping around all night long. Man that was nice!
Pete's set: was. . . .BANGING! Two thumbs up to Pete cuz his set was driving, chill and epic all in one. Brought back a lot of what old Glow used to be like.
Marco V: Ppl in DC got educated tonight. This man brought the heat to us and rocked the club non stop with songs that had me at a loss for words and could only say WTF with every sick high hat or tribal beat banging. Very very sick and I am glad that I stopped trying to keep up with all the latest tunes cuz last night, 90% of the tunes he played I've never heard before. Im such a n00b.
Minor details: Yes, they chilled back on the fog machine.
Overall, this was such a great night. Even though a lot of familiar faces were there, the other ppl there kept the vibe real and intimate. It was very nice to see a lot more ppl appreciate Marco V in the area so the scene is getting much better in DC and you can see that with the number of ppl staying to close out the night.
