Everyone knows I'm a bit partial to this guy, but there's a poll in the poll section for him vs marco v, and as much as I respect marco, oliver is a genius in comparison, behind so much, such as
Profile:
Frankfurt based producer Oliver Lieb was born in 1969 and as early as 1989 started to gain a reputation as one of the more productive and talented producers of electronic music. No matter if its Techno, House, Eurodance, Electro or just ”music electronics”, within the past fifteen years Oliver made his way into the prime league
of international dance producers.
In Winter 1999 Oliver started the following four labels, however they were discontinued due to lack of time in 2001:

Now as much as some of the guys like Tiesto, Armin, Ferry, PvD, Markus,Sasha, Digweed and nearly everyone else I can think of have done, I rate this guy up there, and I know there are a lot of people (mainly americans or people who got into edm late) who won't have been able to witness the wonder of this guy. His productions stick out compared to anyones, you'll probably know him best from remixes under his name, the excellent - Subraumstimulation and the work under L.S.G. like "i'm not existing" or "netherworld" If you haven't heard his stuff, check it out :D If you have.. well I'm sure you'll have your favourites so let us know what they are.

| I miss not having new stuff from him tho, it's a real shame he's not producing now, there's a huge gap in the 'quality' section that he'd fill. Forgot to mention too, you can listen to a 2 hour streaming guest mix on J00F's radio show, on www.ministryofsound.com select radio then archive on Johns page and listen to some techy delight :D |

Lieb is teh man as said. Over the years he has gone through several styles of EDM including ambient, trance, bangin' techno and some more experimental ones but still there hasn't been many productions or remixes of his i haven't really liked. Perhaps some of the odd Spicelab works could be those even if most of them are great journeys into sounds and spaces.

To me, i think he is good as a producer but when to comes to remixing Umek's Finest. I think i have some gruges against it... LOL
i recalling he remixed Uros Umek's Gatex... i almost get flamed for Christmas. No offence though. Well i'm not a Liebholic like you so i can't comment much :D |

Had soo many great tunes that will live forever in the trance world.
However I feel that he hasnt made anything worthy lately and there are many other up and coming producers ala derek howell, nathan fake etc |
