LMFAO omg thats funny fianlly more then one person agrees on how tie gabriel and dresden are..... haha ahh if only these people could look and relise that any vsti would do... heres some advice search for freeware vstis they all should be able to make the sound your looking for in about 2minutes depending on the time it takes for your comp to load the vsti in the host.

I read that they use the ES1 and Mercury.
DJ-Igloo
hbahah this is great !
Vizay
from what I've heard they only use es1 and pure audio in their tracks so go get yourself a descent microphone + preamp and some instruments :p
RiCo
That's so wrong, guys. :p

Last time I checked, they used an Apple Mac G5 and Logic 6. They may not be the greatest of the bunch, but at least As The Rush Comes was enjoyable.:D

I've read in various interviews that they don't use many hardware synths, but losts of plugins. Also, I hear they record the plugins as audio and use it in logic. Furthermore, I've read that they use tons of samples for their perc. Why not just send them an e-mail or somethng and ask them. They might be cool and tell u something.

come on dave, i know you're here :p .. tell us something about your setup :D ;)

Limit
one thing to remeber though would be that ...um...they are making loads of cash and YOuR not! It doesn't really matter what you use, its just how you apply it.
dj_inferno
exacctly. I've found from various hardware and software. I've stumbled apon various sig sounds by big names. I'm not sure if they use the same synths, but if you figure out how to make a cool sound with whatever you have, you should use it.
