Further rumors on the street are about GOOG launching a P2P service of some variety.
With GOOG's distribution prowess - it's user base will be very significant, very quickly. |

They must have some pretty quirky people working there.
P.S. Google maps is the absolute greatest!!
WAY better than Yahoo and Mapquest. |

http://pages.google.com
A new tool that allows you to host pages (100MB space) and edit them online with a WYSIWYG ajax interface so it's pretty smooth for novice web designers.
Some things to note:
- you get a http://gmail-usernmane.googlepages.com address which might make it easy for spammers or "unsolicited" people from getting to know your email address.
- The HTML generated is not the greatest but it's still better than frontpage :) |

Except when you're locating a town whose location you're unsure of, Google doesn't always show its name, while you're expected to assume it's dead center.
Google a small town [Town, ST] (or Town, PR), and click Google Maps. then click the back button, and click Mapquest.
I'm considering a lot of contract offers in NY and near NYC, and some towns in Jersey are unfamiliar, so I Google them, and experience this issue. |
