I just had a big argument with my roomate about it.
Yahoo's Video Search is actually pretty straight forward to implement. It's exactly the same as Image search, only looks for files ending with .mpg, .avi etc(instead of .jpg, .gif). I don't why Google doesn't offer that kind of Video search, but I highly doubt that it's due to the complicated nature of the problem.
The potential of what Google has to offer with their Video Search is enormous... if they ever start showing the videos. |
Get on the next plane to California and you have that fixed by tomorrow at 5pm or you're toast.
:haha: |

Now this is the business

I HATE mapquest, and yahoo maps, they both suck, hopefully Google will do this right, and so far, it looks awesome from the few addresses I've typed in. Hopefully its driving directions are good.
edit: driving directions must need some work. Aurora to Toronto is 552 miles and you go through Niagra to get there. Hahaha, you drive from Aurora to Niagra, go AROUND lake Ontario to Kingston and back down the 401 from Kingston to Toronto.
Who knew. |

Google sucks ass lately. I can't find what i'm looking for anymore because advertisers and sites have figured the search engine out, and made it so that the results come back with them spamming it. Also, I hear there's a spyware out there that makes it way worse. Google sucks.

YES ! I was really looking forward to this release for the past few months. Finally I can actually move the map with my mouse, rather than clicking left/right/up/down. Extremely convenient ! Works really fast too. |

LOL, with my mouse, I took the drive from my student house to the Guvernment, just clicking away. NOTE: When you double click, it centers what you double clicked.

Google Movies:
Put the name of any movie currently running in the theater and it will give you a link in the result page with a movie reel.
Click on the movie reel and you get something like this:
Robots Movie: http://www.google.com/reviews?cid=b...times&fq=robots
It provides a listing of reviews (with links) and a theater finder. |

The one thing google should ad (that Yahoo! did and I absolutely LOVE) is video search. You can look for websites, images, and now Yahoo! has a video tab...hopefully google will add one too! ;) |
