Never have I seen a DJ so in tune with his audience, shaping all of our movements with his blissfull style and energy. I never seen a crowd so unified and so ecstatic. We were all religiously moving to the beat of our God. I am absolutely speechless, words just don't do justice in describing last night... Tiesto really possesses a type of a magical gift, that very few DJs can come close to replicating. I was afraid that last night would not live up to its expectations, because I build it up to such a mythical status. To my surprise, it surpassed it!

Bro, you just said everything I wanted to post this morning when I woke up...

And one more thing - Tiesto, thank you, thank you, thank you sooo much for playing DELERIUM - SILENCE... I've never heard that track in the club, and I was waiting to hear it either in the GUV or some rave, and this Saturday was just perfect! My favorite track of all times was played!!!! And thousands of people with hands in the air.... aaaawwwwhhhhhh! AMAZING!

(onE24-7, you missed so en much last nite, it's not even funny anymore... cak se i Dejan odvalio od skakanja i muzike).

Anyway, whoever brought in the camera, how the hell did you bring that in?! They just plain let you, or did you have to arrange something beforehand? I wanna bring in a cam into the GUV or some e like that, capture some of those moments (with PVD this Wednesday)...

I brought the camera. The security at the door wanted me to throw it out or take it to the car. I know someone that works at Guv (that will remain nameless) and I was able to get it to them before I went in. I waited for a 10 mins in the foyer of The Kool Haus and was able to meet up with them. They simply said don't let anyone see it.

I saw a bunch of people after a while with disposible cameras though so they either snunk them in or security got laxed after a while and weren't searching as diligently.

If you want to bring it to PvD all I can say is try to hide it in a bag (I got my camera into Area:One without problems cuz I had it hidden in my backpack. Wrap it in a shirt or something.

I was just lucky to get it in...

I guess I gotta go shopping for the smallest cameras on the market right now... :>)

I got the Canon PowerShot S110 (Digital Elph). It's 2.1 Megapixel and can take movies with audio. It's $700 CDN so I felt it was reasonable given the size. I was able to take all of those pictures on one battery. Each picture (other than the movies) was taken with flash too. So you can easily take 120 pictures without flash.

Yeah, those pictures turned out pretty damn good... movies were too dark, but I'm guessing that's because you didn't use flash on those...
Ravah
It's just a little tiny LithIon battery. There is no capability for flash to work while recording a video. I did turn the exposure all the way up. Maybe I can bring some more life out of it with Premier. The problem I think is partly the lens as well. It's quite small.

Well, at least you tried... it's the thought that counts :)

Although I havent been to many parties, I have been listening to trance and techno for over 10 years. While I cant compare Saturday night to much, I just know that it will be one night that will be tough to beat. Tiesto had me going nuts for his entire set, and after I woke up on Sunday, I still had this urge to move. I cant wait for Armin van Buuren to come on November 10, cant wait for Gielen to return to Canada, and will be waiting for Tiesto's return.
My only complaint about Saturday night were those stupid Benson and Hedges ads, it made the place look too commercial. But Tiesto did an amazing job of keeping my mind off the billboards.

you can buy tickets at ticketmaster usually, but u gotta buy way in advance because they sell out quick for events like these, u can also buy at the door but they are much more expensive and you're not guarateed to get 1.
