I don't hate Muslims - Muslims hate us. Their plan is to conquer Europe. Bin Laden said as much in his audio tapes.
Anyway, I can foresee millions of "refugees" from the Middle East going to Turkey, claiming asylum, then moving to Europe proper legally. :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

i agree with the above statement. in order for Turkey to join, they need to have a strong industrial base, and should not depend on western EU subsidies to get up to par to western standards. maybe they are already up to par, i will just assume they are not.

if the Serbs were able to stop them from moving westward back in the day, that problem wouldnt be there today! instead the Turks broke through, and killed and conquered, and raped and pillaged to make new Turks.

| just wondering out of the voters, how many are actually European in residence, as in how many who voted yes/no actually come under the EU's jurisdiction. I think personally it would be bad to have Turkey in the EU for now, there are too many countries doing nothing, and leaving ones such as the home nations of the UK to pay for everything, our economy is ed, jobs are being lost and pensions are non existent. Taxes are high and there is a lot of problems with our schooling & health systems, in which I'd rather see money be spent than on inviting another country to freely come into our shores at will, especially as we have so many minorities now that the streets are dangerous with both fighting between iraqis, pakistanis, indians, chinese, turks, former yugoslav countries, baltic ones et al that it's no longer safe to walk alone, even in the daytime here. Supporting another country.... not imho |

But, no matter what was in his previous posts, you cannot use that as an excuse to ban him for this. His posts in this thread have not been racist. He's just selfish - that's something else. |

Isn't that like more of a vision of the future than actual reality? If we have the same refugee policy in the EU, I don't get why the Swedish, French, and Belgian governments keep criticize the Danish one for being too harsh? |

Yeah i know we dont have a common refugee policy yet, but we dont have any turkish membership yet either =) |
