Hey -
I'm new to the TA scene, but got to meet some of you tonight...
What did you all think? I was really digging it. I really loved the toon with the lyrics "next train" in armin's set. Anyone have an idea of a title / artist for that one? |

I was too drunk during most of Armin's set to know what was playing.....
And most of Markus's set too.
I had a good time, met a few TAs I had yet to meet, drank a lot, ran away from meth, talked about veritible toupees and etc.
I am glad I am home now.
I think I overdid it tonight....last armin show I didn't drink at all and was grumpy, so tonight I drank quite the bit (esp. considering I have not had a drink in 3 weeks due to my foot ailment/medication) so I am a bit fuzzy. I must say I really liked the fact that armin played a set that was not all trance. I know there was at least one tibal housey sorta tune and at least one techno sort of tune in the mix....but I cannot tell you when or where cause I was kinda out of it.
If I made an ass of myself to any of you, I am sorry.....I did not mean to be like that,
If I didn't make an ass of myself, all I can say is PHEW.

i had a great time, as always at vision. this was a pretty good show...lots of energy, lots of good choons.
heres what i remember from last night...in no particular order

one of my friends was exhausted so we ended up leaving kind of early and missed the rest of armin's set. :whip: oh well, maybe next time they will take a nap before we go out. :) |

| good times im glad we all meet up before the show for that dinner where we got to meet armin and marcus. Tom and i thought we heard a xpander remix during Armins set. anyone else think so? |

Well, I had an awesome time although I had to leave a bit early due to a member of my party consuming a bit too much drink. I thought Armin and Markus both has awesome sets and I loved the energy level throughout the nite. Comparing this to Tiesto in June I would have to say that this was worlds better. It was excellent watching Armin dance behind the decks.
As far as tracks go,
Markus:
Holden & Thompson - Nothing (not sure of the mix, maybe bounce @ nothing??)
Armin:
Above & Beyond - No One on Earth (G&D)
Above & Beyond pres. Tranquility Base - Surrender
That's about all I can pull out of the alcoholic haze at the moment... |

well i went into this night feeling like and the entire drive down, all i felt like doing was crawling into bed. but i forced myself to have a good time. typically i'm insanely psyched to see Armin but i think i partied myself out on thursday when i saw Zabiela, so it was tough. the only thing that kept me going all night was Armin's amazing set, which i would've been going CRAZY over if i was 100% there.

| Yea, a great nite indeed .... :toocool: Markus and Armin played some killer tunes... Can't wait till he comes back here soon... I drove all the way from Indy with friends just to see him play... Vision is a great venue, puts everything in Indianapolis to shame... I took a lot of pictures there so will post them soon! Any TA's from Indy made it there besides 3 of us??? |
