Markus played Silence like the second or third track in his set (that was before the Captain Morgan kicked in and I could remember tunes). Armin played a different mix though I am pretty sure.

I had a blast! Armin and Markus both outdid themselves I thought. I might have even liked Markus better. At first I was really bummed out
that the meetup fell through, especially after talking to Markus and him saying that he and Armin were exited for it but no one ever got back to them! Oh well as soon as markus took the Decks it was turning around for me. It was also nice to meet and see all the TA's out. We had a massive turnout for Chicago anyway. Ill have to post the Markus group pic. I cant belive we heard Delerium twice, I mean its 2004 and I am sick of that tune.(not to mention the new mixes are nothing compared to Tiesto's) The best part of the night was when Me and JMC walked over to the HOB hotels and saw Armin and Markus getting out their car and Markus is like hey you guys are staying here too! We were like no but are you guys down for doing anything! Armin said he had to go to bed he had a gig the next night and Markus was tired so nothing happened:sadgreen: !! They did say next time Have a meetup!!

| With Armin, you can always talk to him after his set...if you can stay awake that late, or should I say early in the morning? I will never drink so much so many hours before a show again! |

Both sets were totally awesome for me. I might have liked Markus better if only because the dance floor was a little clearer and a little cooler at the time.
For me, if I can get in that sort of thoughtless dance zone, where I stop even caring how bad I dance, and I get my endorphins flowin', then it was trance. Good trance. |

In retrospect I think i should have dropped the $$ to see Markus. He is starting to get out of his 'musical slump' in his more recent sets. However, armin continues to disappoint me starting from July 2004 to present ( i wonder how long it takes him to get out of this slump).
that said these next two moths shouldnt disappoint us Chicago EDM fans. We are getting some awesome talent pushed through the clubs.
Nu NRG should be an awesome show

i think guys would have been better if you meet Markus's wife. She is a hotty. :happy2: |
