| Gotta love them all but Tiesto is better in my opinion. Saw him at Space once but Ferry is more into it woooo FERRY FERRY FERRY! |

I haven't yet weighed in on this and I'm not going to bore you with my long, eloquent rhetoric on why I prefer certain trance DJs over the others so I'll keep it short and sweet.
PvD > AvB >>> Tiesto.
Just my opinion.
:p
(Although I've had a consistently better time @ Armin's shows)
Edit - I've seen two good Tiesto performances: October, 2001 @ Quest (Minneapolis) and October, 2002 @ Vision. Ever since then, the performances I've witnessed have been significantly inferior and I reckon this trend will only continue. |

I haven't seen him live so I have no basis for a proper opinion ;) |

and i thought i had a thing for the dutch dj's
:wtf:
and i think the only trance dj that i would pay to see is armin - neither pvd nor tiesto do anything for me - and its the way the dj looks that matters ;)
i haven't seen ferry in about 2-3 years - may have to check him out the next time he's in chicago |

guys... its just music.
not some perfect spectral force like u seem to think it is.
treat it for what it is. treat them for what they are.
And agree - tiesto is far greater than ing van boring.
djing isnt JUST bout making a perfect trancendentally built masterpiece.
it can be trainwrekced the hell.. so long as the energy is there.
Why go to a LIVE dj event if u expect perfect mixing from 6-7 hours of music ffs. |

i'm sorry, but what is a DJs job? to MIX MUSIC. anyone can get behind the decks and trainwreck hit after hit... does that mean the energy is good? does that all of a sudden make them a good DJ? no one wants to dance thru 6-7 hours of trainwrecks, unless they're on drugs.
it's not that tough, really. if a DJ can't beatmatch and create smooth transitions between songs, he/she should really think about a different career... like automotive sales. |
