Gotta love it... though, not really. At least Manny the Man didn't have any today. |

No probs. Apology accepted.
Regardless of who wins, I want to see it won with good play, not by the other team losing or messing up.
For the Sox, every time I see an error, I just feel like they're going to lose the game because of it.
It's both funny and amazing that they can get away with so many.
I do wonder how long they can continue to do so. |

| Game 3 - gonna be interesting to see how well Pedro does, against a team that as not as familiar with him as the Yankees |

Agreed, i mean even though the Sox were up by 4 points, i still held my breath when the Mueller errored 3 times!
They've gotta tie up those loose ends when they play in St. Louis. The Cards have a perfect record at home in this postseason.. |

I'm really too young to really feel the whole Red Sox thing. But... why is it that this year really does feel like THE year? Is it that everything seems to be going the Sox way? I feel like if this was last year, those two calls in game 6 would've went for the Yankees. Bellhorn's homer would've just came shy of the foul pole. And even if they made it past all that, I feel like these error's should be biting them in the ass... but they aren't.
This is really such a fun team to watch. I just wish more people weren't biased against them because a) they are Yankee fans or b) they don't like the way the look/carry themselves. They seem like the definition of a team to me. I don't know... I hope in 20 or 30 years, these anti-Red Sox people will look back and realize what a truly special team this was. |

Anyone that has some sense should know that any team that can be the first to comeback from 3-0 down and at the same time, stare straight ahead at "breaking the curse" has got to be pretty special.
I can hate teams but still respect them at the same time. See: Chicago Bulls.
I'm am not fond of Jesus Caveman and all that hair (or more specifically all the demonstrative individuality). I admire a more professional approach but it works for them so... whatever.
As a Yankee fan, I start to think of something a little peculiar. If the Red Sox win, I think a lot of the pressure from the Yankees from the last 2 years goes away. It was like "we can't be the team that loses to the Red Sox and breaks the curse." Up 3-0, it was like the pressure got worse instead of less. "We better not choke" as opposed to "we got this series won." Next year, PERHAPS that the Yankees will just go out and play baseball more freely and forget about just beating the Sox.
Let's see about the Cardinals and being at home. It sure seems like to make a world of difference!!
And a comment about the Red Sox being 4 points ahead. Sorry to nitpick but my dad would have slapped me if I said points. It's 4 runs. :tongue2 |
