Depsite the home run to Walker (and heartstopping cuts by Pujols and Rolen), Foulke closes the door, making it a 4-1 for the game, 3-0 for the Series
and they do it without Ortiz doing much at the plate (but more than expected in the field)
If Lowe pitches Game 4 anything like how he did in Game 7 of the ALCS, then it's over
Bobby's boy Jason Marquis is gonna have to come up big to keep the Cards in it
I think the Sox are playing really well that a sweep is a good possibility
but I'm somehow picturing the Cards winning the next 3, then Sox take Game 7 on Halloween in Fenway, cuz the Sox always do things the hard way and find ways to keep things interesting |

Honestly, if the Cards had one pitcher that scared me, I could see them winning 2 or 3. But they have no one. If Carpenter were here, it may have been different. I still say Sox in 5. I see Lowe having a poor performance tomorrow, as well as Marquis. Then I see Francona pulling out all the stops and bring in anybody and everybody for game 5. Though I'd love to see the Sox win at Fenway, I will not be picky. |

I'd have to say that Boston is swinging the bats like they have the babe in them. The cuts that they've been taking are outragous...everyone is hitting the ball well - their pitching is way above par..I see them sweeping the Cards in the WS.
This will be great for Boston as a city and for their baseball team.
This will put another team in visibility for prospects to want to join this ball club.
This is what all teams should be striving to be.
This is what the Yankees are like...
I believe Boston will have a good deal of prospects looking to join their club after this years performance. Well done...
Will Pedro come to New York?
Will Beltran come to New York
Will Willie go to the Mets?
Will Donnie be a bench coach?
Will RJ be the next super star in Pinstripes?
So much to plan out and see how things go for next year. As it stands right now, I'm in line for 05 Yankee Season Tickets... |
