hehe u bet she is.

i dunno about ayumi hamasaki, cuz she's only a japanese pop singer. not because she had loads of trance remixes that means she's a trance dj. i think u should go with the options mentioned above. they have a pretty good electronic scene, but trance in particular . . i don't think so!!

My brother has a lot of Japanese trance. He went to Japan last year and he said that they definitely have a scene over there!

Who was the Japanese DJ that spun at Ultra 6 (in the Amphitheater)?

he's japanese, but he doesn't exactly produce trance. it's sorta really hard trance borderline hardstyle.

it's trancy enough for me.

and I thought Tsuyoshi Suzuki did psy/goa? or at least he was featured on B-Trance with Guy Salama, and that was all psy.

Another vote for Ayumi.

Globe has alot of trancey works under their belt; including remixes by Push and Vincent de Moor. Some of it is downright cheesey, but still worth checking out.

http://www.avexnet.or.jp/globe/ <-- This is their official website, if someone can read Japanese or find a good translation site this would help out those interested in it.

A noteworthy track is Globe - Love Again (Vincent de Moor remix).

The genre hopping J-pop group MOVE of Initial D fame went through a 1999-style uplifting trance phase. Listen to the instrumental version of "Come With Me" ... Very "early-AvB-ish" :)
