I don't know his real name but I believe "Biomehanika" is a play on words, for "biomechanical" (for example, the artistic work of H.R. Geiger fusing metallic mechanisms with organic lifeforms).
Colorful character for sure. |

I'm another TA who loves Ayumi! The Ayutrance series is really good (the first one is my favorite), and the Ayu-mi-x albums have some good remixes too.
Ayumi has some pretty good DJs remixing for her, from Above & Beyond, to System F, etc.
As for Japanese DJs, I have only heard one, DJ Taka, and he's featured on DDR. He's OK (some of the material is good, while other material is cheesy) |

YES! Although in later years he is better known for latin/bossa nova and solo piano works, and has not done much electronically. But yeah, fearless Sakamoto...!! |
