Electronic Music Community Unites to Redefeat Bush
Members of the electronic music community are coming together and coming out to RedefeatBush. Recently noted artists BT, Ken Jordan from The Crystal Method, DJ Christopher Lawrence, Tweaker and Nine Inch Nails co-founder Chris Vrenna gathered to support The Committee to Redefeat the President/ReDefeatBush.com. Noted photographer Kiino Villand, in Hollywood, photographed the artists in RedefeatBush gear. The photos will be used in RedefeatBush’s upcoming merchandise catalog. Check out a ‘picture says a thousand words’ photo of BT here: http://www.kiinovilland.com/rdbsele...eDB.BT.1971.htm
While at the photo shoot, several artists gave their opinions and reasons for supporting The Committee to Redefeat the President/ReDefeatBush.com. Ken Jordan of the Crystal Method said “It was bad enough having this guy win the presidency without winning the election but he is invading countries, he lies to the country, and worst of all he is just neo-con puppet for the rich. We are doing everything we can to get out the vote and to support Kerry in November and ultimately we would like to have a President that knows how to read and pronounce ‘nuclear’!”
Christopher Lawrence, one America’s most popular DJs added, “I support The Committee to Redefeat the President/ReDefeatBush.com because, like the name says Bush lost the election, yet still became president. “George Bush has the worst record of any president in history for the annual deficit, the economy, international relations, the environment, unemployment, workers rights and civil liberties.” Now more then ever, every vote counts. Bush and his administration of hate and greed must be removed.”
Producer and artist Chris Vrenna held, “This 2004 election is the most important presidential election in my lifetime. I cannot understand how Bush has taken the surplus that Clinton left and turned it into the largest deficit in US history. He has no regard for the environment. He wants to drill in nature reserves and roll back decades of clean-air laws. The US people were lied to about the Iraq war…no WMD, no cadence tying them to 9/11. The hypocrisy of our government there continues .We oust a torturous abusive dictator only to discover the US treatment of poor Iraqi prisoners. That is no way to lead by example! If Bush is elected or re-installed, we will be further in national debt, hated by the world community and be a polluted and unsafe nation.”
Headquartered on the Internet at www.redefeatbush.com, The Committee to Redefeat the President/ReDefeatBush.com is an innovative and energetic political action committee, not affiliated with any candidate, whose goal is to register one million new Democratic voters in swing states. It organizes events across the country at which volunteers register voters in battleground states by telephone. Additionally, the organization reaches voters through humor and a bit of edge—our ReDefeat Bush condoms (saying, "Don't Get Screwed Again") are a best seller on the web site! It also raises money through online contributions, events, and the sale of merchandise, including buttons, bumper stickers, T-shirts, and lawn signs.Recently The Committee to Redefeat the President/ReDefeatBush.com organized a calling night at Hollywood’s classic dance music industry schmooze the Monday Social. After registering a few dozen Oregon Democrats, volunteers and fans danced to supporters Deepsky and DJ Eve Falcon. The event was fully chronicled on popular LA political blog Schadelmann.com, http://dewar.journalspace.com/?entryid=156 |

I'm pro-human life thats all...whether we suffer in poverty or succeed with happiness, the fact is we are alive. Remember there are people out there who have attacked our right to live, if we can't defend that and move to elect a leader focusing on quality of living then whats the point? Bush is preserving life by preventing attacks from happening. Kerry is focusing on quality of life, how can we attribute to quality of life if someone is out to take our lives from us. |
if by preserving life you mean killing over 10,000 innocent iraqi's then he has done a wonderful job of doing just that. hrmm... people who attacked our right to live... last time i remember iraq didn't attack us, nor threaten us in any way (except maybe to limit the amount of oil exports), it was al qaeda.
my reasons to not vote bush:
our economy is in a SIGNIFICANTLY lower position than when he took office
he ruined our foreign relations
he created a whole mass of new enemies from the innocent lives that were lost in the current war
lied to us about so many issues (even continued lying in the debates)
there's so many more but i'm tired of listing them every time i try to argue against bush. just read up on the facts and learn more people |

As moronic as it sounds - Bush lols
My reasoning?
Terrorist has successfully threaten smaller countries with execution of captives from their native countries and have had these countries remove their soldiers from the war. This is a victory for them.
If the people of America, choose to remove Bush from office, in a smaller sense, isn't that a victory to terrorist? They've successful persuaded the American People to elect a different President. I am not pro-war as I have a few good West Point Graduate friends currently occupying Iraq and Fallujah. I am aware of the Bush's stand point on America and the economy. I know Kerry poses the IDEAL CANDIDATE for America, but don't you think that will be the cause of another attack on our soil? Another test of the new presidents balls? Another reason for them to bring the war onto our homeland? I think our Economy and Rights will naturally heal itself. I believe that an attack on the USA by terrorist would detrimentally hurt the economy and the rights we all have anyways.
I'd let Bush occupy the office with the comfort of knowing that to the least degree he has already acted on it. If Kerry comes into office he might stablize the economy more and contribute to our homeland issues, but to me, that will never mean more then a human life. Together as a society we have to understand that, these homeland issues (abortion, human rights, economy...etc) they are cyclical. There will be solutions, help, rights granted, all of that. But in the time that we live right now, we face war. It's not on our soil but we live amongst it.
Rock the Vote please and be wise and keen to what is happening now as it will affect the future. I've lost a few people on 9/11, I don't need to worry about losing more. RIP 9/11. |

Not exactly true. The economy was already starting to slump at the end of Clinton's time. Although Bush did little to help it, I suppose he had what he thought were more pertinent issues to worry about, like national security.
And our humongous national debt isn't as scary as many claim it is. The number may be huge, but the majority of the nat'l debt is in the form of bonds that people buy from the gov't (thereby giving the gov't money) and then redeem years later (thereby taking their money back + interest). When the gov't has to pay you back your bond amount, what does it do? It sells another bond to another person to get the money to pay you back, therby continuing the cycle. As long as people keep buying bonds (and there's no reason they would stop), the cycle continues and our debt number grows, but there's no real danger. See what I mean?
But yea, you're right about one thing: Bush needs to go. |

Shouldn't the leader of our country be able to form articulate sentences. Is that too much to ask?
Bush doesn't lie? :haha:
Whatever company/country Dubya runs turns to .
And I'm sick of him mixing religion and politics.
I'm sick of him embarrassing the U.S.
He needs a big boot! |

i agree with you on all that. bush is an idiot, and has totally alienated the rest of the world from the US; his foreign policy sucks. and what about health care? not once have i heard bush come up with a plan to better the health care system. all he talks about are weapons of mass destruction. all his efforts are focused on one thing, well what about everything else? i dont get it.
my vote is kerry, i dont think i can take another 4 years of bush, he has done nothing for the middle class (except take the young ones and put them in a war), and i dont make enough money to support bush.... |

the only reason i can think of to vote for bush if if you're making over 200 grand a year which i doubt many here are, but besides that even if you were there are other things more important in my book, like safety.
I CAN'T SEE HOW BUSH CAMPAIGNS ON A PLATFORM OF NATIONAL SECURITY WHEN THE TERRORIST ATTACK 9/11 WAS ENTIRELY HIS FAULT, I CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE DON'T REALIZE THIS, THE FIRST TIME WE WERE ATTACKED SINCE 1812 ON OUR SOIL AND OUR PRESIDENT POINTS FINGERS......BE A MAN BUSH, STOP TRYING TO COVER IT UP, YOU ED UP. BE A MAN.
HE HASN'T DONE ONE POSTIVE THING FOR US, ALL HE'S DONE OS UP, AND YES HE CAN'T EVEN TALK RIGHT. |
