haha, well, first of all i live in an english speaking country, so it kinda feel more natural to speak english (although my swedish is still way better than my english, its strange but you would know if you have lived in another country for a while :)), second, i (even when i lived in sweden) understood english waaay better than norweigian, so i guess you would understand english better than swedish too...

Actually. I understand Swedish just as well as I understand English. We are all Scandinavians you know :)

Take a trip through Skåne, then come back and say that again. Similarly, you could ask a swede who says the same thing to take a trip through Setesdalen and then say it again when he/she comes back.

i guess norweigians have easier understanding swedish than vice versa.. ohh well, you want me to write in english or swedish then? :p
Lil-H
Yeah, Norwegian people understand more swedish and danish, than vice versa
It may be because of our TV channels, we have tv1, tv2 (the one from sweden) and tv4

Just post in English, everybody's happy :)

Actually, I have a lot of family in Skåne, so I'm kind of used to that dialect, but yeah..it's a bit harder to understand. But that goes for all languages with dialects that deviates from the standard one. Hell...I even have some difficulties with some Norwegian valleydialects :)

lil-h: 100,- on that you would have understood swedish as much as you do today w/o the swedish channels..
