"I want my X # of hours back" - the movies that make you wish for it

Ok, so last night, paraphrasing Pink Floyd "(hundred) channels of and nothing to watch" - I got stuck watching the most retarded movie ever - "Grind". It's a cheesefest of a movie about this bonehead scateboarders. It was so bad - it was like a carwreck - you couldn't pull away from watching it. I must have fought the urge to puke about 50 times from sheer stupidity of dialog, acting, and/or scenes.

So, it made me scream out "I want my 2 hours of my life back!" at the end. Here's my suggestion to keep Hollywood from ting these bricks - movie studio should be insured against such bombs. Every time you watch such crap, you should be entitled to claim your time in dollars. And at the highest rate you think you can ever be paid. This will keep the stupidity down. I know I'm guilty for watching it but I want the liability to be on the studios as well.

With that said, which movies made you wish you got your time back?

Here are my candidates, besides the one listed above:

1. G.I. Jane
2. Robocop - all installments
3. Anything with Ashton Kutcher (hey, you see a family monopoly emerging?)
4. Charlie's Angels - both of them (yeah, I said it - they sucked)
5. 1/2 of Matrix Revolutions - where morpheus and others go on this long winded, sensles dialog rampage and where really silly CGI makes the movie look like a video game (the fighting scene in the yard, for example)

Ok, now you go:

Matrix Revolutions

I left the theatre thinking, "What the was that?" Biggest let-down of a movie I've seen.

sometimes formulaic crap is the type of dribble that actually makes money. Its a time-honed tradition that big studios rely on to make money.

Unfortunately some are just crap.

I don't go out to the movies often, i mostly watch DVDs or whenever a movie is on TV.

But Im glad I didnt go out in the 80's to pay money to see The Breakfast Club, which is the most overrated 80s movie and it sucks.

I just remembered a movie I tried to supress from tender adolescent years:

1. Baron Munchousen - that movie traumatized me for the longest time. A bore of a movie

2. Beetlegeuise - what a crock of !

3. Madmax - highly overrated

4. Waterworld - do I need to explain this one?

5. Freddy Got Fingered - Tom Green should be a posterchild for "Pro Choice"
psychosomatica
The Van. Saw it last night.
Nautilus
Good example from today, "Chasing Papi"

What a hot pile of dung, but at least the chicks in it were hot.

Artificial Intelligence - They just gave up at the ending... "so then he freezes and aliens take over"

The Royal Tenenbaums - Uhhh, you would have to watch it to understand.

Rules of Attraction - Awesome film work, horrible story.

Can't think of anything else at the moment.

Rodrico
Any chick flick is a waste of my time...

Also, Hero - I felt like I had paid to see a two hour chinese buffet commercial (Mandarin anyone?)

I hope Jet Li dies now, he's made way too many ty action movies.
