well, she doesn't understand what she's feeling herself and no matter what you confront her with, your evidence won't count because you *WERE* invading her privacy and you yourself weren't being fair and honest to her by mistrusting her and snooping in her email.
so wait and see, if she does like the guy, she'll dump you. if she doesn't, then you have to decide if you want to be with a person who wasn't being honest with you, even if you love her. |

And to stay on topic.....what was the topic? Oh yes, halycon is right. It's "Addition."

i agree about fighting for someone, but that's only if YOU'VE screwed up and feel horrible. i don't know about you guys, but if i was with someone and i found out that they were losing feelings for me and felt sorry for me, i'd be like screw that. don't do me any favors. it would hurt, but i wouldn't sit around trying to get creative on how i could make them like me again. i'd end it and hopefully find someone else who thinks i rock:cool: |
Agreed. I may be too much on that side though. If I feel like a girl is losing interest or doesn't like me anymore, I will get the hell out of there immediately. I might talk to her about it first and tell her what I'm sensing to validate my feelings, but I won't linger around with a girl that doesn't really like me. If she doesn't like me for who I am, I'm out. I might change minor character flaws for a woman, but I'm not going to change my whole personna. It's a waste of my time, and I can find more girls during that time. |

no doubt id rather have it click and be a flaming ball of hormones kind of relationship, but if you arent really doing anything like going to school or meeting people, why not spend some time improving yourself?
I ditch girls hard when they seem like they are being cold. I dont like games and I dont like people who dont like me, hehe.
but im also aware Im slightly abrasive sometimes so I try to smooth out some of my rough edges :D |

Well thank you all for the advice, the ones who were serious about it at least.
Here is the current update for all people interested. We did break up. I told her that I felt as though she was being distant with me and that I could tell that something was obviously up. I played the "I can see it in your eyes" line and it worked. She bullted for a while and finally admitted that [the kid from the army] was on her mind a great deal. She said that she thinks about him a lot more often now and she doesn't know what to do. So I broke it off with her and told her we needed a break and I would also like to explore new options.
Apparently holding doors and actually paying for diiner are bad things. She told me it made her feel helpless. Oh well. I kinda overreacted over the whole thing anyways...and it really doesn't bother me. I think it was just the fact that she was going back to an that killed me. I hink im just gonna brush it off...cut off most communication with her and hit up the Avalon or other clubs more often in Boston :)
Anyone got advice as if I should still talk to her or cut off communication?
Hell yea Orbax...I still have my bike! Just put her in away for the winter two weeks ago :(. This winter wont end soon enough! |

Sounds like you handled it perfectly. Good work. Now go out to the clubs and be an ! Read the Rules of Engagement thread I just posted. Funny , but a lot of it's really true. Mentions the door opening and such. |

lol im still riding my bike. 34 degrees out and im going 100...ing cold man hehe.
and yeah, im nice with more beer. Also I dont talk to people I like in the morning because I am such a head in the mornings.
my room mate sees her cat come FLYING out of the room ( I threw it really hard) and she asks if there is a problem. I say "Yeah, your ing cat wont stop tearing up and biting me. I hate your ing cat, and if you werent here I would have hit it before I threw it"
I didnt like how she was automatically assuming I was just being a jerk, her cat bit me in the ing face as I bent over to get my eggs from the fridge. God I hate that cat.
later on I had some beers and apologized for "being a grumpy pants" she laughed and it was all good again. |

tell you what man
You can never get over a woman, until you get under another one.
Look there's plenty of drunk bitches in the New England area, I know since most of them just called me looking for my ass from this summer. Anyway they're all toasted and celebrating the Red Sox, most of them are not even Sox or baseball fans, but they know that all the was out at bars watching the game.
So go down to your local pub, pick up a cutie, and just jackhammer her for a few hours, or in your case a few minutes, guaranteed to make you feel better. Since it' soo cold over there, you might want to think of getting a little chunkier one.
